Hung Vuong Food Market — Local services in Cherry Hill Township

Today, I want to express my deepest disappointment at this store not because of the products (products are great & the employees are okay) but the FACT that my jacket was stolen at this place. I want to warn everyone who shops here to be vigilant. When I noticed that my jacket was missing, the cashiers paged someone she works at the front desk. Would you think she would be helpful but she wasn't. She didn't even asked or said I'm sorry this happened. She said maybe you should look at your stuff closely. I told her how can I shop if I keep looking at my stuff? Then she didn't even say Ms. I'm sorry this happened unfortunately this happens and out of our hands. She then said well what time are you here clearly I have my receipt from S.MART which by the way have cctv that I was wearing my jacket and left there with it and inside to the HUNG VUONG market. She then have an attitude the whole time. We've been shopping here since they opened and we drive from the military base. She said we have over 40 cameras so it will take a while so I won't do it. Then I said we'll I have all day, she said it's too much work and said I will do it if there's a police. So I said okay no problem, I will get a police for you. I called the police and a police officer came and he was nice and he listened. It's not because it's expensive jacket but it's the fact that the customer service was a zero. She was lazy and have an attitude the whole time. We're valued customer, we drive far yet we should be treated with respect & also be more helpful or compassionate towards someone that was victim already. Again, I really hope this police will find who stole this jacket & give it back to me. Just be aware of your surroundings and please next time be nicer to your customer and at least say you will try your best to...

I am very disappointed about the cash register! if I can rate this store a negative one I will do it. Let me tell you about my experience. I already paid my groceries when another cash register shouted at the register I am at and says something in their language the lady started digging my items, and I let her do it but I realize something is not right so I ask this freaking lady what’s wrong and she did not answer and continued to dig my stuff without my permission! when she can’t find what she’s looking for she finally asks me and says if I open a cookie inside the store because I’m guessing they were being nosy and minding other people's business! and saw my child eating his snack(from home) assuming I didn’t pay for it which is very stupid of them assumption!!! I told her next time she can’t do that and make sure she told me first before digging my items that's been paid!! and ask for permission! I feel like she target me coz were of different ethnicity! where is the diversity in this store!! those ladies are judgmental and unprofessional and need customer service training. Take note she didn’t return the items properly in my bag! I called customer service and ask for the manager and she said she is not present in the store! what kind of supermarket doesn’t have a manager on the clock? Ridiculous and the two cashiers' actions are unacceptable and I feel like they are racist for doing that to me. On the bright side, the customer service apologize. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the NASTY cashier! It was my first time in the market on 6/19/21 The place is spotless. My head on a constant swivel looking at all the wonderful products.  I purposely didn't walk down each aisle because I want to come back and be more surprised.  I love H-mart and it's been my go to. The old place on 70 was nasty and dirty so I was thrilled that they closed. I found Hung Vuong by accident last month while driving and vowed to come in one day. The seafood dept was impeccable, the meat dept had such a variety of meats and everything packaged so nicely.  And the had QUAIL!!!! My absolute favorite when I go to Vietnamese restaurants is quail and now I can buy it myself. My husband and I even got some roasted duck to take home. While everyone else in the store was friendly and polite , at the check out the girl was a total BIT**  she threw our food around, she never spoke, we had purchased Japanese sodas for our sons 4 of them..she threw them in a bag with other bottles making it so heavy to pick up and then threw it down the belt. I felt myself losing my temper and I said "Sheesh can you not break out items"...My husband stopped me from saying more. While this market is incredible and offers more than I can find in most places. At least H-mart has friendly people working at the registers. The store itself is a 5. If I had to rate the performance for the cashier -0 She was nasty, rude, and honestly shouldn't be in the front of the store with that attitude! I hope management speaks with the cashiers.
