Personal Pros: 1)Quality and prices both are unbeatable in the area .great location. 2)Drink station is kept separate which is really convenient if you don’t want any sweets or savories . 3)Has a drive thru (yet to be opened ). 4) Has an app for rewards and orders to be tracked. 5) Efficient workers and great customer service
Cons:
Tried: Drinks are all adjustable with ice , sweetness and dairy/non-dairy products.I like to first try them in their original forms so I adjusted ice only .
To preface my review, I visited this café for the first time shortly before 5pm. The café closes at 6pm, so I had assumed a lot would be gone. I didn't realize EVERYTHING that wasn't in a cold case would be gone. As I walked across the parking lot, I could hear a man who was leaving say loudly to someone going in "You shouldn't bother, the store is empty, only drinks are left!". I went in anyway, because I was still curious to try whatever was left in there. In the pastry side, everything was gone except for a few sad looking Taro buns and an entire tray of tiny egg custard tarts. None of those looked appetizing to me, so I looked to their cold case instead. I tried several of their single serve cake slices; Their Tiramisu Cheesecake, Coffee Crème Brule cake, Strawberry Cream Cake, and Deluxe Chocolate Mousse. The Tiramisu Cheesecake was honestly the best out of all of them. A good balance between the cream and coffee flavors without being too heavy. The Strawberry Cream Cake I didn't care much for. The cake was very dry, and the flavor of the cream was very obviously artificial strawberry flavoring. The Coffee Crème Brule cake was also oddly dry and the coffee flavor was very weird tasting, I'm assuming it was artificial flavoring like the Strawberry cake was. The chocolate mousse was alright, but not really that great to me. I also tried their Yuzu Lavender Bubbly, which was very tasty and refreshing! But also, I didn't realize it's literally just seltzer water with flavor syrups put in it until I looked at the cup. It's good, but I could make that at home. The girl working the order counter was very sweet and worked so quick to get everyone served promptly! The prices are pretty decent, and do reflect the quality of the food. Also, this is strictly a grab and go type of place. There is no where to sit inside or outside of the café, so you wanted to sit and immediately eat your stuff, you need to sit...
Read moreAuthentic Taiwanese bakery! There was a line Saturday morning so we ended up getting stuff via the drive through. ordering process: simple a quick as a drive through should be. Drive through menu is simple. There is a picture for everything. They get your order ready pretty. Packaged it well.
We got the following items: Boroh danish: this is the BEST that I’ve had in the US. It’s like the “ pineapple bun” from Chinatown, but wayyyy better. The crust is light and fluffy, and not too sweet, not crumbly, not sticking to the top of your mouth. The bread is airy , moist, and bouncy. Not “sticking together and collapsing “ with every bite. This is so simple yet delicious! chocolate bun: again, not too sweet! You can taste enjoy the taste of chocolate ganache inside, without the overpowering sweetness or sour aftertaste of way- too- dark dark chocolate. chocolate croissant: I didn’t try it but my child loves it. She said it’s better than Panera’s! coconut twist: I’m a little confused with this one. I did not taste coconut but cinnamon. This is more like a snack food that you eat when your bored or watching your kids soccer game. Not a dessert or breakfasts. milk pudding bun: very tranditional Taiwanese flavor. The Milk pudding filling reminds me of custard, but less “Egg-Yolky” and with a hint of lemon. Thai milk tea: my child said it’s the best she’s ever had. Well balanced flavor between the spice and sugar. $16 only , for 4 buns and one drink. Can’t beat that.👍
The experience was so positive . I can’t wait to go back to try their savory...
