Terrible customer service. We went into this place because they had extended hours with a 10pm closing time for the holidays, however around 9:30 the lights started shutting off and there was no announcement stating otherwise. So we assumed the place was closing and quickly made our way to the front area to check out. There were 4-5 employees all in the front area talking and conversating with each other. One employee was even being checked out/helped by a fellow employee. There was another employee cashing out her register right in front of us. There were several register lights on as if they should be working the registers, but no. They were just buzzing around, just walking around back and forth right past us talking to each other, and not one person said a word to us. It was very confusing for us. Not a single employee offered to help us or asked us if we were ready to check out or conveyed to us that they would be with us shortly....nothing at all! We just stood there several minutes waiting, watching and wondering what was happening. We finally started thinking they were closed and that we didn't make it to the front in time to purchase the items we had found. Finally, another employee comes walking up from the floor area and tells a co-worker she was going to check us out. She then told us "the lights were broken and that they weren't trying to rush us out and that we could keep shopping". After standing there waiting and being ignored and treated so rudely by the other group of employees, we wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible and didn't want to shop anymore. It blew our minds how they were all just gathered hanging out talking and conversating and completely ignoring us. We were the only customers standing there waiting in line. One of the rudest experiences we've ever had. Will never shop at that...
   Read moreDO NOT COME HERE!! Wednesday 11/07/2023 at around 4pm. I went in here to return 3 dog clothes. They all had tags and proof of purchase. There was this lady on lane 2 with no name tag. She was wearing leggings and black jacket her hair was black/brown wavy textured hair. I explained to her that these dont fit my dogs and they are either too small or too big. She looked at me with disgust and told me these are unreturnable and not acceptable. I asked her why and she said they dont accept used dog clothes. I explained to her they are not used i tried them on my dogs and these wont fit. I have the tags and receipt i dont understand the problem. Then she proceeds to say they have fur on them and that the policy is dog clothes are not returnable. I told her if that was the case then why isnt it stated on the return policy on the receipt and she told them customers dont pay attention to that nor listen so she cant accept my return. She asked if i would buy dog clothes with a bit of fur on it and my answer was yes i would if my dog had the size and it was the only size then yes i would, and its just hair i can throw it in the dryer and its not a problem. And she shakes her head and says no. Then she proceeds to be rude and in a condescending manner she went to 2 other customers on the checkout line and asked them would you purchase dog clothes that have fur on it? So unprofessional and customer service was rude. I think shes a temporary holiday worker but still i will never shop...
   Read moreGood customer service can be hard to find these days, excellent customer service, with a smile and kindness is exceptionally rare. Upon shopping at this Homegoods location this week we had found several purchases, one of which had a small defect, we asked for a discount. Jenn, the manager, was called up and she greeted us and her staff with warmth and a smile! Without a question, she began to discount the item, and was continuing to chat with us and the staff at the checkout counter. She discounted the item more than we had anticipated, quite generously and was commenting kindy about our purchase and making polite conversation.
It was almost closing time, so anyone would understand being tired after a long shift, but Jenn was clearly adding positivity, enthusiasm and setting a great example and atmosphere not only for us as customers but for her staff. You could tell she was interested and involved with her staff and that she was respected. We inquired about Jenn with the girl checking us out (I don't remember her name) and she agreed that Jenn is an excellent manager and person to work with.
In the midst of all the crazy in the world right now, it was refreshing and wonderful to have such kind and enthusiastic interactions while running some simple errands. Jenn deserves all the support and recognition for being a great...
