Just horrible. The last few times i’ve been here there is no one working the registers, then you have to checkout at the printing section because that is the only employee who seems to be working so you get stuck behind everyone trying to print or order custom items.
*Update - 12/8/2022 - The store still has pathetic customer service. We had an issue with a cashier processing our check for payment. She had run it twice and two receipt's were printed with two different totals so we wanted to double check to make sure the check was not ran twice. The cashier called the manager. Once the manager - Hailey - got there they talked quietly then up and walked away saying nothing. Then the manager names Hailey and the GM Shannon came out and Shannon was obviously bothered by the situation. She was pointing to the receipt and laughing at us that it says cash not check so no it wasn't run twice like we were stupid for asking. She continued to have a smirk and annoyed demeanor the entire time and rolled her eyes saying it was the cashiers first job like what did we expect. So she not only was condescending to us, but to the cashier. Shannon is setting a terrible example of how a manager should handle any conflict with a consumer and how employees should speak to consumers. Funny thing is, she was the one who called me back in August about my previous review asking what they could do to earn my business back. Clearly she does not appreciate her job at all. I hope Office Depot cleans up their terrible management. This is why people online shop versus supporting brick and mortar buildings. Read moreLet me start that I'm not from Portsmouth, my truck broke down and needed to ship out a part (electronic) issue for repair. Went it the store waited for four customer in front of me to be be served. Ya, I got my shot and stated I need to use FedEx and was told I needed to fill out on the web site to, from, etc, when finished to let her know. When I finished I looked around for her didn't see then spotted her in the the parking lot by the time she got back to me the system timed out meaning I had to start over. I asked the employee if she would remain here till I was done so it would not happen again, and she said she would, and it happened, she started helping the next customer again. I let the manager know I was not happy with the service and went in search for another FedEx, Walmart was the closest and the part got shipped out. Read moreDidn't carry the product I wanted but promised me that the store 30 mins away did and sent me there, the other store did NOT offer it and I wasted time and gas driving around in Virginia traffic through tolled tunnels there and back as well as ridiculous traffic. Thanks a lot for NOTHING but a giant wild goose chase. When I called to let them know they were misinformed so they wouldn't send others to aforementioned alternate location, the MANAGER told me it wasn't his problem whether or not someone gave me bad info, it isn't his employees' job to know what other stores may or may not carry. WOW! I wasn't even mad, I was only calling to save someone else the run around in the future!
