I had the most delightful dining experience at Red Robin recently! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance made me feel right at home. The menu was filled with mouthwatering options, making it difficult to choose just one dish. In the end, I decided on the Whiskey River BBQ Burger, and it was an absolute masterpiece. The perfectly cooked patty was juicy and flavorful, topped with crispy onion straws, tangy BBQ sauce, and melted cheddar cheese. Each bite was an explosion of deliciousness! To accompany my burger, I opted for their famous Bottomless Steak Fries, and they did not disappoint. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The fact that they were bottomless was a huge bonus! What truly made my dining experience exceptional was the service I received from Kudu, my server. From the moment I sat down, Kudu was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations, ensuring that I had the best possible experience. Kudu's positive energy and genuine care for their customers were evident in every interaction. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied with my meal. Their warm smile and engaging conversation made me feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. Overall, my visit to Red Robin was an absolute delight. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service from Kudu was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun, casual dining experience with top-notch food and service. A special shoutout to Kudu for making my evening so memorable. Thank you for your exceptional service and for making me feel so welcome! I can't wait to come back and try more of Red Robin's...
Read moreMy family and I stopped at this Red Robin on Chesapeake square about 820pm to enjoy dinner. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed that the parking lot was not very full and there was only a handful of tables occupied. We waited about 3 minutes before we were even greeted by anyone, he assured us our host would be with us shortly. Over the course of about 20 minutes we had multiple people come up to the host stand to tell us that our host would be with us and the five of us would be seated shortly. There were 2 employees working the kitchen/to go area, but they acted as if they could not see us. No one ever actually offered us a table in the almost empty restaurant. No one ever seated us they just kept telling us the host would be there. Finally I decided to walk around the restaurant to see for myself what was going on. To my surprise in the empty bar area, with not a single customer around, there was a table full of Red Robin employees including the people who had come to tell us that we would be seated shortly. Four people plus the bartender were in the empty bar area just chit chatting laughing and joking around while completely ignoring the few tables that had customers and the multiple customers that had lined up and were waiting to be seated. There was my family and then two other couples that were waiting to be seated when we finally decided to just leave. One of the employees came to tell us, yet again, that someone was going to come seat us and at that point we decided to just go elsewhere for dinner. My family and I typically enjoy eating at Red Robin but this was the worst experience that we have ever had at a restaurant. We would never recommend this location or this restaurant based on...
Read moreNormally I don't leave reviews but this time I think it's warranted.
This location is my "home" location, as it is near my neighborhood and where I work, and I like keeping things nearby in business. But on this visit it became apparent that another location would be getting mine and my mother's business.
We asked to sit in the bar area, the hostess, told us it was open seating in the bar and that the tables should have menus on them. We said ok and went into find a seat.
The table we first picked was under the tv and the bartender shouted that the table was closed. We were fine with that as the table did seem to wobble a smidge and the tv might have made it hard to hear.
When we shifted over to the next table she then shouted to ask why we were sitting there. We informed her that we were told the bar area was open seating, and she shouted that the bar top was the only open seating.
Again we said this is what the hostess told us. She huffed about something dealing with the seatting and I suppose went to get a manager.
My mother was put off by the fact that instead of coming from behind the bar and talking to us she shouted and had the whole bar area watching the back and forth. And as my mother really wanted an ava-cobb-o salad she got up and started for the door.
The silent decision was made that we would take our business to another Red Robin location. The bartender came from the kitchen area and watched my mother walk out with me not far behind. I informed the bartender that we would be going to...
