Kookies Cakes Shakes & Gifts — Restaurant in Chesapeake

First timer today. The place smelled good and looked good. The cashier asked my order i told her. Then proceeded to put it in and had to ask my order again. Order was taken and 2 milkshakes were given to me and they look delicious. 10 -12 min later the cashier asked was i still waiting on something. Duh you took my order, a funnel cake. A guy walks out the back and asked what I was waiting on and checked but they were already trying to rectify the order. He walked out checked the property and bought in the sign and guess what I was still waiting even after they closed. I was offered a free cookie but I was a little annoyed and just wanted my food so no on a free cookie. A cup holder should have been offered when I ordered not walking out. The cashier completely ruined my experience. And as soon as the guy walked outside she was on her phone probably why she forgot I ordered a funnel cake. She was more worried about her phone then my order. I might be back because I really wanted my milkshake but I had to freeze it to firm it up and it wasn’t the same. Update(2/24/25): I appreciate the response from the owner. I disagree with the winter hours being posted as google as well as the time on the store indicated opened at 11:00 on Sunday, No mention of “winter hours”. But with that said, I am willing to give your location another opportunity and I appreciate the free cookies offer.

Original post: Heard, this location had good cookies. Was there today 2/9/25 when they opened at 11:00 am. Door was locked at 11:00 and need to knock on door for them to open.

They only have like six options and chocolate chip location was empty. I asked if they had any chocolate chip. I was told that it would be about 30 minutes maybe. I guess I’m confused why you wouldn’t have all the options of your cookies available right when you open, especially chocolate chip which I would assume is the number one seller.

Two ladies there were nice enough, but not very helpful and little Care whether or not things were out and ready to purchase.

Recommendation to the owner is if your store is named cookies to have your cookies ready when your store...

Hey there! Just wanted to share my experience at this amazing cupcake place and encourage you all to go check it out! The cupcakes are simply fantastic and there are so many flavors to choose from. I went on "$2 Tuesdays" and even though it was towards the end of the day, the cupcakes were still super fresh. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they make them throughout the day, ensuring the highest quality.

While the cupcakes themselves were amazing, I have to admit that the service could have been better. The girl at the front was nice but didn't seem too enthusiastic about the product. I was hoping for more of a sales pitch and for her to explain all the different flavors, but that didn't happen. Nonetheless, it wasn't a deal breaker and I still enjoyed my cupcakes and the other desserts like the strawberry shortcake, which was absolutely addictive!

Despite the service not being perfect, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious treats. I know I'll be back multiple times per week because I just can't get enough of...
