Iâm not sure the reviews on here are true. Only 5 star reviews? I had a really stressful visit purchasing wedding bands. We chose Reeds because they are open on Sundays, but I would recommend planing a special visit to another store, because So much went wrong! What should have been two visits turned into four. I live 30 mins away. Thats 4 hours of traveling to and from Reeds because of their mistakes. They never apologized, they blamed me for their mistake and they blamed the ring company. PSA: If you are looking at Triton Rings - Reeds charges more then the company does - BEWARE!
My fiancĂŠ and me came in a few months before our wedding to get our rings, wear them and make sure we love them. Itâs almost a month to our wedding and we finally got our rings, but no time to find new rings if we donât like the ones we got. Let me start from the beginning: We go in to Reeds to try on rings. We decide we want black rings. We have our rings sized and place the order. During checkout they added a warranty plan without telling us. When the sales associate was going over the warranty, we figured he was referring to Tritons Warranty, not additional warranty. Not only that I asked for the online discount ($75 off $400) they said not a problem, then told me my order didnât qualify because I didnât make the $400 minimum. The two rings totaled to over $500. They messed up with calculations and I didnât get my discount. Iâm not paying too much attention because Iâm happy we found rings and I end up paying for the warranties and not getting the correct discount. It took almost 2 weeks for the order to come in. I could have ordered online at Reeds or Tritons website for quicker delivery. My wedding ring was order wrong. They never apologized, one lady, Michelle, had the audacity to ask me âwhat did I think I ordered?â When I politely told her it was wrong. The ring that I waited two weeks for came in silver! The receipt states Black!! I donât know how they check orders in, but usually you make sure the size, color, ring is correct before you call the customer in to pick up. Michelle offered no apology, she went straight to blaming the ring company after I showed her my receipt. The second time they ordered the ring it took 3-4 weeks to come in! No apology. Not once. On top of that no one told us that the rings we order should be ordered half a ring size smaller. My fiancĂŠ complained about the ring being too loose when we picked up our rings the first time, but they didnât care. We had to ask to recheck his ring size and they gave us ones on a loop, not the one in the box, that made made him nervous to order a ring size down because the rings in the loop are bigger. Again, no help was given! When we go to pick up my wedding ring and send his back they try to charge us $40 and kept pushing their warranty that we had refunded. We didnât mess up, they did over and over and they did nothing to fix their mistake. I wish I returned the rings and went elsewhere.
I was going to buy a gold rope chain and I was looking at them again at the second visit and I asked for 2.5 mm this man passed me the largest rope necklace! I let him know it was the smaller size, and said he knew. I donât have time for you to reorganize your chains, It also didnât look like you knew! I can go on and on about the 4 horrible visits I had. What should have been smooth and relaxing turned into very unsatisfactory...
Read moreMy fiancÊ and I went to Reeds because we had heard bad things about Kay Jewelers and other chain jewelry stores you see in malls. We spoke with an older gentleman (I cannot remember his name and he no longer works there). This was when we were looking at engagement rings. I know I wanted a princess cut diamond and considered a double halo. He explained the advantaged and disadvantages to what I wanted, he also educated us on diamond relation to finger and what diamond would best suit my finger length and width. It was so informative. We went back after we got engaged because my fiancÊ ended up getting my ring over seas. We found something we liked and had it noted on our account in case we decided to come back and make the purchase. We then went to diamonds direct and had a HORRIBLE experience. After that we went to Zales and found another ring I liked but again a no so good experience. We went BACK to Reeds and found a new ring that I fell i love with! We worked with Michelle and Salvatore they made the whole buying process a breeze! I Love this company since they do not require inspections to keep your warranty. Its hard for military couples to meet this since they may not have a Reeds where they are. Such an amazing company and I highly...
Read moreIf I could give 10 stars, I would. I was just about to leave the mall after visiting Kay jewelers and Zales, because I wasnât having any luck finding what I was looking for. But Iâm so glad I happened to stumble across Reeds. What an amazing staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the most outstanding customer service. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Julie and Kim. Aside from the extraordinary customer service, they helped me pick out the perfect ring for my fiancĂŠe. I just told them my price range and the type of ring I was interested in and they found one tailored to my every need. They stopped at nothing to make sure I left with the ring that I desired to have. By the end of my visit, I didnât even want to leave.. thatâs how comfortable and valued they made me feel. Awesome, awesome, awesome experience. I would 100% recommend Reeds to anyone in need of quality jewelry. You all should be proud to have such an amazing staff. It really makes all the difference when you have individuals who love to help others and love to keep customers happy and coming back. Thank you! Iâll always remember my experience at Reeds and how they made such an exciting time in my life all the...
