The Twisted Crab - Greenbrier Mall — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Extremely disappointed in this establishment. My family and I visited here on Saturday, November 23rd and for the first time in our history of dining out (as we do frequently) had something to occur that has never occurred before. About a week later, as I am going through my bank statements, I realized there was an extra $10.00, per my receipt, that I was overcharged. Upon looking at the receipt, it came to me that the waitress obviously added an extra $10.00 to her already given $10.00 tip (to total $20.00) in which we did not authorize. I called the restaurant, requested to speak with a manager and informed the manager of what had happened. He indicated that he would research this and find the receipt and give me a call back. He called back a little over an hour later and stated that he found and confirmed exactly what I told him. His findings were that the tip amount was changed to $20.00 as opposed to the $10.00 that we actually left. He stated the District Manager, Max, was already aware and that they would have a conversation with her about her actions and that the $10.00 would come out of her money and they would mail this $10.00 back to me (we live out of state over four hours away). He told me that he would call me back the next day and it has been 4 days later and no phone call. They do not have any information/address from me to mail me back the $10.00 and the manager acted as if this was not a big deal. Your waitress stole from us and this isn’t a big deal??? I will never visit this place again. If you are not looking to be stolen from, STAY AWAY FROM THE TWISTED CRAB IN CHESAPEAKE!!! They have thieves working for them that will steal their customers money and they have managers that can only offer to send you the stolen money back that do not follow up and that you will never...

It was my first time dining at this specific location and I overall enjoyed the experience. When we walked in we were greeted so well but a staff member there and was immediately seated. It was great because there was no wait time at all! Our server then came to the table and we quickly ordered our drinks. She was very prompt and polite the entire visit, and definitely checked upon us constantly. It was a nice and chill atmosphere as well! Previously, I had not known that they had happy hour! So I was definitely excited to see the deals that they had and I thought that they were very reasonable for the amount of food given. So if you haven't already, check out the happy hour! You will not be disappointed! I ordered a boil bag with a half a pound of crawfish and half a pound of shrimp, that also came with a potato and corn. Additionally, I ordered the Buffalo wings. The boil bag was good and I definitely enjoyed it! My only concern with the wings is that some were really small, so I had to alert the server so that she would bring me out more. As you can see in the picture, that Wing was so little, that it could sit on my pinky. And I have a really small pinky finger. After she came and looked at it, she definitely took the plate back and replaced it. The wings were slightly bigger, But overall I was satisfied. Went to the Chesapeake location last night. The restaurant was alright. Getting to the point.......the food was way to salty. I was expecting to taste seafood but it was too salty for my taste. Ay first I thought it was just me, but a little while later, my wife had said the same thing that I was thinking. For $25, I had a bag full of sausages, 2 potatoes, some shrimp, a half of crab and 1 corn. When we were trying to get our drinks refilled, the waitress took our cups and disappeared for about 15 minutes leaving us to eat this salty food with no drink to wash it down. When we gave the waitress the money to pay for the food, she disappeared for another 20 minutes, leaving me to go find out were she was at. Come to find out she on the other end of the restaurant tending to other people. I had to walk up to her while she was doing her job and ask her for my money so I can leave. Not the worst dining experience yet, but defo wnt be coming back here with prices and service like this.
