ChinaWok — Restaurant in Chesapeake

First off me and a couple friends drove from NC to VA just for the purpose of going to the mall and getting food from China Wok. Last week they gave us the nice courtesy of a Black Pepper chicken sample which was amazing and we instantly ordered food. Today they gave us the courtesy of trying their Sweet and Spicy chicken which looked about the same but had yet had a different and amazing flavor. I noticed after we ordered that the employee who was giving out samples was running around making sure to give a sample to everyone who passed by with a smile on her face and also rushed back to get more samples as she was running out of them. Most importantly we observed about 8 out of every 10 people who tried one of the samples immediately got in line and ordered food. The servers were amazing too as they had given us a couple samples as well. My lady and I ate here about 8 days in a row for lunch. Absolute top tier. Food was 10/10 every time, so the consistency is there. The portions are 10/10 so satiation and value is there. China Wok Panda Express. For like, $13, you get arguably double or triple the protein you'd otherwise get from anywhere else, and the amount of noodles you get are pretty insane. I'd definitely recommend here for lunch or for a good treat. Also get the Crab Rangoon. Those are way too good

Sadly though, I don't recommend for keto. They have veggies, but they treat them like an entree instead of a side like panda, so when I'm on Keto, I can't really eat there at all. Otherwise I'd get Veggies and their Butter Shrimp.

Great mall chinese takeout. I got the one item combo with half chow mein and fried rice. Way more authentic than Panda express. Normally I don’t get fried rice but it complimented the entrees extremely well. The Singapore chicken was very delicious. The business looks like a small immigrant family business and they were willing giving free samples, you can tell they know their food is the bomb! There were lots of tables in the food court during lunch today on a Wednesday. The mall was unfortunately empty.
