Fabulous starting with Korena who took our take out order she was warm with a beautiful smile and knew the products. I ordered baby back ribs 1/2, mashed potatoes w/brown gravy, loaded broccoli with cheese, cornbread side delicious 😋. Next order was a sirloin steak 6 oz loaded backed potato, shrimp delicious 😋 and last order pulled Sammy, baked beans delicious but my granddaughter tastes buds is still stuck on burgers, trying to convince her it's a burger pulled apart is challenging but we eat half, it was also delicious 😋. While waiting for our 25 minute meal to be prepared I ordered a white Russian, mule for my daughter and a nonacholc Shirley temple for my granddaughter all delicious from Morgan. Jeremy at the bar corrected my missing order of the shrimp in less than five minutes to go. Back to the excellent service of Korena, Morgan and Jeremy - KUDOS to you all what a dynamic tag team!!

The meal actually came in 15-20 minutes!

We all enjoyed our meal even though my granddaughter enjoyed my meal more than hers, me and my daughter ate half of her meal and she will finish it off later tonight or tomorrow. It is tough trying to convince her it is a burger pulled apart. They ate my cornbread, I was told the butter hits the spot. Our entire meals were delicious 😋

Smokey Bones serves up delicious food and offers a rewards program that seems great if you dine there regularly. They often run specials, making it an appealing option, but the service at this location leaves much to be desired. Over the past six months, we've ordered takeout roughly 10 times, and not once have we received a completely accurate order.

The mistakes range from minor (like missing extra butter or toppings we paid for) to more significant errors, such as missing side items or using the wrong sauce or rub on ribs. Since I placed all but one order online, there’s really no excuse for these constant errors. A small but ongoing frustration is their broccoli options. They offer it three ways—normal, crispy, and well done—but no matter what you select, it’s always the same. We even tried ordering two different types in the same order, but both came out identical.

To their credit, whenever I’ve called about an incorrect order, they’ve been polite and issued partial credits. But at this point, I’d much rather they just get it right in the first place.

Another issue is with their rewards program. It’s easy to earn points, but redeeming them is a different story. I tried to use my points for a free rib meal but couldn’t do so online—it gave me an error message. When I called the store, they advised me to order by phone instead, but even then, they couldn’t figure out how to apply the coupon. To make matters worse, the coupon is only valid for two weeks once requested, and despite emailing customer service multiple times, I never received a response. Now, my points are gone, and I got nothing for it.

While I love the food, the constant order mistakes and a rewards system that feels like a scam make me question if...

I’m very disappointed that I have to write this review because the food was genuinely very good. It was completely overshadowed by the unfortunate poor service we received. Drinks were delayed because of a stock issue, so they came out slow (but okay, understandable). They have a “secret sauce” menu but it’s so secret the server didn’t even know it existed. Thankfully she ended up asking the manager and getting it, but not without the hassle of making us believe we were crazy for ordering something that didn’t exist. The worst part was when we were finished, we were waiting for at least 15 minutes, maybe more, just for the check, mostly because our server got pulled for a giant table and found a bunch of other things to do instead of clearing out an easy table, and nothing is worse than being forced to wait when you’re ready to go. On top of this, there was an error where the server gave our check to another table (who ended up paying it and leaving) which meant more time waiting for us while she figured out what to do. We ended up flagging who we think was the manager to finally try getting us the check and he claimed that we were supposed to pay for the already paid for check..very confusing, and honestly we didn’t care at that point because we were so fed up with waiting.
