TLDR version. Best customer service and interaction I think I have ever received anywhere, not just Autozone.
I donāt leave reviews but what these guys at Autozone did for me I have to share. I was about a mile away from the Autozone store, at the Vet down the road getting medicine for my dog. I leave the vet, get in my car, and my car would not start. Tried jumping it multiple times and the battery was just absolutely fried. I have absolutely no tools to remove the battery with me and everything I own is, obviously, at my home 45 minutes away. I call autozone and speak with someone and ask if thereās any possible way that If I bought a battery if they could accompany me back to my car to help me change it since I had no tools with me and would have cost me $200 to tow my car half a mile to their store. The person told me that they really wished they could, but their corporate would fire them for leaving the store. I wasnāt mad I completely understood. So back to trying to jump my battery. After another hour of attempts, My wife and I arrive at the Chesterfield autozone About 45 minutes from closing time my wife and I talk to Anjum. We purchase the battery and i explain again my situation and ask if there was any way we could borrow a wrench or a socket, anything so I could replace my battery. I was trying to not have to drive home, get tools, come back and replace the battery, as it was already almost 9. Anjum asked his supervisor Mario, if I could borrow a wrench to change my battery and explained my situation. Mario sat for a second and looked up and clarified that we were less than a mile away and told Anjum to come with us replace my battery, basically breaking corporates rules to help me. This truly was the best I have ever been treated. These guys basically risked getting not only chewed out but possibly let go, to go above and beyond to help me. I could not be more grateful.

I was sold some pretty expensive ones since I had one fall off while driving in the rain, I didn't want to tske a chance at the same thing happening, so I asked for some help with the wipers and told him about the wiper coming off. He showed me some wiper blade and the ones that were higher priced had a rebate when purchased and that day was the last day of the offer. So I took them. He told me he will put them on for me and even top off my washer fluid. I thought how nice of him to do that, I even said "wow that is great!" Only to find out i paid for the washer fluid he topped up my vehicle with. I didn't ask for washer fluid I thought it was a courtesy thing he was doing as just being nice and since I did buy the expensive blades. Nope he added it onto my check out which I didn't catch on until he handed me the washer fluid bottle. I was confused. We telephoned Auto Zone on THF Blvd in Chesterfield for help. The manager, Brad W., went way beyond the call of duty to help us. Not only did he source the correct car battery quickly, have it in stock, and give us the best price available including a promotional discount, but he actually immediately drove to meet us in the parking lot of the store where we were stranded and he installed the battery for us there, on the spot, at no additional charge! This kind of attention and service is never seen any more in modern times - not anywhere.
