I was using an ancient Win 8.1 laptop for my brewery (Hunter's Brewing) here in Chesterton and it decided it wasn't going to boot one day. I ran through what I could do to repair it and determined it was probably a hard drive issue or a Windows issue, which I simply didn't have time to work on. I've used Brainstorm before with great results so I took the laptop there together with an external drive in hopes that they could copy the drive so I could pull my valuable info off. They determined that the laptop's drive was failing but they were still able to pull my data off of the drive and I was able to copy it to another laptop quite easily and was up and running again nearly immediately. Woke up this morning to my computer's fan making a loud grinding noise. I opened the case to check the fan. Turns out it was caked with tar from cigarettes. I tried to clean it up myself and realized the fan needed to be replaced. So I called brainstorm and they said I could drop it off. Lucky for me they had the part in stock! Very friendly and fast service. I had my computer back 4 hours later. This really saved me a lot of time and frustration.
