Great little local favorite off the "square" of this quaint little town. Thought I'd swing by on a monday night and it was still hopin' even to their 9pm closing. (I believe they are open later on the weekends.) The ladies here work hard to take good care of all of the customers. Their special burger of the month was very tasty and the staff is friendly. I also tasted their chocolate chip brownie and PB fudge icecream desert. This is a great date night spot and is also enjoyable for a casual dining experience. This is a small shop style diner amidst the historic building. It presents with a 6 person bar and a couple of high-top tables. The restaurant seating is more ample across the room and can easily host quite a few in groups of 2 to 6. Parking is a little limited but can be found along the street. Location is very close to the RR tracks. I'll definitely swing back through for another menu item tasting in the near future.

This was our first time there and we are definitely going back. It's a quaint little place with not a lot of tables but service was excellent and the food was even better. I had the burger of the month which had thick cut bacon and a fried piece of thick cut cheese along with some deep fried avocado and some greens. All of that was on a brioche bun. I ordered it medium but it was definitely medium well to well but I didn't complain because the burger was still very juicy and delicious. My girlfriend had the mahi-mahi fish sandwich and she was just raving about how delicious it was. She said it was fantastic. She had to tater tots which were good but nothing special for plain tots. I had the fries with my burger and they were really very good. We're definitely going back. Like I said the service was great too.

The food and service here is REALLY good, and surprisingly cheap (dollar wise) for the amount of food that you get. I had the cuban, which was delicious, and the sweet potato tots, and fries pickles, both of which were cooked and seasoned to perfection. My partner had a burger, which was cooked to a true medium, which I rare. I'm tired of eating well done burgers, so this place would get 5-stars alone for that. Next time I'm definitely getting a burger. The fries cooked in bacon grease were great as well. My only issue is the EXTREMELY limited seating. I didn't have a problem coming here on a Tuesday night, but I saw a few people turn away, because it seems like it's only big enough to seat no more than maybe 10 people. I'd still definitely return though

Disclaimer: I don't go here often, because it's usually so busy.

But, last night, I figured I'd try my luck at 5 p.m. Scored a seat at the bar. Place was nearly 100% packed. The 3 people working the floor (one of them, Leah, was also working the bar) were an efficient team, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, clearing tables, and just generally moving people through the Octave experience.

Deep fried pickles. Great. Hot pants burger. Amazing. Onion rings. To die for. Side salad, not incredible, but I used the extra burger juices on my plate to give it a boost. Fine glass of red wine. All of this was just fine.

The highlight of my evening, as an observant diner, was when Leah took a phone order. The place was packed, buzzing, moving...and she patiently explained everything to the person on the other end, what cheeses and toppings were available, where the beef came from, and more. Keep in mind, I was dining alone, so I had nothing better to do than to observe my surroundings.

I think that Leah was on the phone (which is at the bar, which is busy and loud) for at least 10 minutes, if not more. She didn't break a sweat. She didn't roll her eyes. She didn't sigh with exacerbation. She did her job and then some to help a pick up order customer. Her colleagues kept everything moving along while she was on the phone without breaking their stride.

Kudos to all the staff at this restaurant. I can see why you are...

My husband and I went to visit Octave Grill in our town, we heard so many reviews on how good it was, well, let me tell you about our experience. We went there on a cold Sunday afternoon around 5pm, starving and wanted to try something different. There was only 2 tables filled when we arrived. The waitress sat us right in front of the kitchen, I did not want to see my food being prepared, didn't like that. She asked us what we wanted to drink, but I think she forgot about us, then she asked us for our order, I ordered the cheddar burger and my husband had the burger with goat cheese and salad, I asked for medium well, I got pink on the outside red in the middle, My husband ordered his medium and his was about well done. It took along time for us to get the check, people that came in after us were served before us and left while we were eating, they had a different waiter. He seemed much better. I will not go back, did not like the food and don't agree with the other reviews that we had heard. Sorry it was a bad experience for me and my...
