Duneland Pizza — Restaurant in Chesterton

Thank you thank you thank you. I no longer will be making my weekly trip to Hammond for pizza. I have lived in Chesterton for 12 years and never tried Duneland until today. It was on a Friday evening around 5 o'clock and soon as I walked in the door I was greeted immediately by a very nice young lady and the owner even came to the counter to say hi even though I could tell they were already extremely busy. Best pizza I've ever had with the exception of not enough sausage. I love meat so next time, and there will be a next time, I will just order extra sausage...problem solved. TWICE in a row we ordered a veggie with no onions. They continue to put onions on it. I would give zero stars if I could. We have been very loyal customers for years and couldn't be more disappointed. Plus and the woman on the phone twice insisted we "ordered wrong". If you want customer loyalty maybe there should a little respect in exchange. Everyone is our house heard it ordered without onions and we're told to get a veggie without you have to order each ingredient individually, that will result in a higher cost. 20+ years we have been loyal. A true hidden gem! This is hands down one of the best pizza places we have ever been to. We are so glad we stopped in, and will definitely be a must stop for future trips! Stop in you will not regret it. The server was so nice, and even accommodated us when we came in just an hour before closing. We have the garlic bread and dough bites for appetizers, and both were very good! I had a cheese pizza, and it was so good! The thin crust is nice and crunchy!
