My experience here was that I was humiliated and embarrassed by the owner. I have never had someone talk to me the way she did— never mind a business owner to me as a customer. She told me I was “too big” for the clothes that I not only tried on but later purchased because they did in fact fit me. Even after I responded politely, informing her that the clothes did fit me and that I, as an adult, would never try on clothes that I thought were too small, she continued the inappropriate conversation at the checkout, claiming that she “never would have let me try the clothes on.” So yeah, if you like shopping in a store where the owner can literally prohibit you from trying on clothes you like based on her assumptions about your body, go here and ask for the owner, Barbara. 10 out of 10 great consignment shop. I visited today and had a great experience. I haven't been here in over ten years and they have remodeled, upgraded and maximized the use of their space. I received excellent service customer service from Ginger initially who accommodated a special need out of kindness and consideration. The items for sale were clean, pressed and well organized. The store was clean and orderly with no bad odors from unclean or old clothing. I believe the woman who checked me out was Jessica and she was friendly too.
