Label Shopper — Local services in Chestnuthill Township

I’ll start with a negative. I was very very very sad that Peebles and then Gordmans closed down. It was my favorite local places. I still do miss them because I was able to get a credit card there. Now I have to pay on a closed account. This is not their fault, but I did take a star away because I would like to be able to get a store credit card here. This is not to say this store is bad, it’s actually cool. It has a lot of nice name brand clothing at a great price. I wish they would get some more home decor and small furniture. If they would have those things, it would be somewhat equal to TJ Max. Unlike TJ Max, they Color coordinate.I believe this store will be here for a very long time. I probably bought about 30 items and I spent around 200; a 2/3 of the price in regular clothing store. In closing, if you are around the area whether it be waiting on pizza at Mike’s Pizza or waiting for laundry to get done at the laundry mat.; Go take a walk around, I can almost guarantee you will not walk out of their empty handed. Has a decent amount of men’s stuff too. So go...

Imagine my surprise when my sister told me I could buy a name brand jacket for half off when I said I needed a new one!

We went to Label Shopper, and I was amazed at the selection of "Columbia" fleece jackets and other name brands available. I use quotes because after purchasing a "Columbia" jacket I've discovered it is a fake.

Now don't get me wrong, the jacket is comfy and serves its purpose. I just hate being lied to about anything.

As for the store experience: The place was clean and organized, but strangely it was not very bright in there. Looking back, it's probably dim like this so people don't notice the fakes.

My only encounter with an employee was at the register. From what I recall (it's been a few weeks), the older lady did not say one word to me during the entire checkout process. No thank you come again...nothing.

With all that said I probably will...

Absolutely love this store. I personally hated the old stores before it. They were overpriced and over rated. Never had anything fashionable to be honest. These are like the boutique stores in NY- which I missed so much. Named brands for way less. Got my husband two polo button downs for $5 each and got myself some fashionable shorts for summer for $7.99 each. Shoes were so cute but I didn’t need any for $10 or less. Adorable kid’s clothing! Sad I just got summer clothes for my daughter elsewhere. Will be back when my daughter needs school clothes. Wish they had a better 18mo-2T boys selection but for the most part I was impressed. I wasn’t concerned with the staff- I was looking for clothes- not a welcome committee lol. Will be back soon for sure.
