Your team was very polite and happy to help. I would have given you 5 stars, but......

Why wouldn't our tour guide mention "Trump's" name when talking about the building. Rather, it was referred to as "The big blue building named after someone....I dunno. We'll call it the Big Blue Building." Once again, personal politics falling into place during an event where I wanted to escape politics. I get the sarcasm, but it is a tour. How many people from out of town take your tour? Do they not have the right to know what is what? That's what we are paying for. Oh! But when the guide discussed a band that dumped its cargo of human waste on a boat from a bridge, he chucked and said "No lawsuit....the problem just disappeared." Don't know why he would not say "The Dave Matthews Band". Why? Was it because they are an opposing "Big Blue Building" band that did something completely against law, but did not want to shame them? Separate your politics from entertainment, Mr. Tour Guide. It's not about you and your beliefs, it is about entertaining the customers and educating them. Business is business. BTW....this "Big Blue Building" is Trump Tower taken by me. Ironically, the Dave Matthews Band was in...

Finally was able to check this place out when my friend came into town for Memorial Day weekend and truly was a spectacular time to kayak.

Although everyone and their mom was on the river cause wow the traffic. Once I got the handle on navigating around the bigger boats and tour ships it was a super relaxing and fun time just paddling down the river.

Definitely a must-do for when you have friends visiting. I highly recommend though that if you aren't at least an intermediate kayaker, do the tandem with a more experienced kayaker as getting around the big boats gets a little intimidating sometimes. I could see how a beginner could get freaked out.

They do have a person on a jet ski that rides up and down and tracks the kayakers so that he can help if you find yourself in a bad spot. So having that person definitely helps with your comfort level as you navigate your way through.

Urban Kayaks is an amazingly fun and unique experience and one that every person should try at least once...

I will start by saying prior to embarking on this tour that I was very much afraid of getting into a kayak. I decided the 2hour tour sounded like a lot of fun and I love history.

I sat in on the instructional lecture where they explain what parts of the river are busy, what to look out for and expect while we are out there. We then went into a paddling demonstration and all of the paddle strokes were explained.

We lined up and getting in the Kayak is very easy, then you slide into the water and you’re off! I found that Chris’s direction was very clear and we even chatted while we were on the water between announcements.

What I found was as long as you are able to stay balanced and keep your core straight you will be fine!

The history portion of the tour was very informative and had some humor thrown in also. I would highly recommend this 2hour tour if you are interested in seeing the architectural sights from a new angle and learning more about the history of...
