This post office is straight garbage!!! They never deliver anything on time. They shove boxes that shouldn't be in the mail box but won't put things that clearly can fit in the box, and won't deliver anything to thr house. Can't get to the post office monday-friday because they open after we get to work. Close before we get off even though I have been there many many times at 427 and they have already closed and locked the doors and gone. Can't go at lunch as for some reason the entire place has to go to lunch at the same time for an hour and a half. I live in Beaufort County, Chocowinity and the USPS Driver delivered one package to my mailbox and was too lazy to come down my driveway and deliver the other box that wouldn’t fit in my mailbox and sent notification package couldn’t be delivered because front door was not accessible or driveway was blocked which was total BS. Carrier on Sept 25 2021 on W Barr Rd sloppily grabbed the outgoing mail, dropped items in the street and left the flag up. I have no way of knowing if more envelopes were dropped and blew away as I only found three. DO YOUR JOB!!! This is completely unacceptable and takes minimal effort to even do correctly.
