The Furniture Warehouse — Local services in Chula Vista

We had been clients for the past 14 yrs. Our last set of purchases was a dining room and a queen mattress set that was supposed to have a 10 yr warranty. The mattress set was bought back in 12/2021 and on 09/2024 we reported the mattress had lumps and sinking in some places. The manager said they wouldn't be a problem in getting a replacement under warranty, they just told my husband to send photos and they would take care of it in a couple of weeks. My husband kept calling every other week to see what was going on, because the mattress is getting worse. They answered that they were checking on deliveries and would call back with an answer, which of course… never did. In December 2024 my husband and myself because extremely upset by the situation, so my husband called only for them to say they had a customer with the same name and mistakenly delivered our mattress to that customer. We told them we would sure them, and their response was that they were not denying our replacement and they promised to send it asap. Well, of course it didn't happen either. On 01/06/2025 they sent an inspector to check our mattress and confirmed it was defective and they would send our new one within the next week. Its now 02/12/2025 and we cannot sleep in our bed because is extremely uncomfortable. We of course not getting any answers from them at this point and we are going to go wherever we can to tell people to avoid this place at all costs. When we first went everything was great the salesman was fantastic, but after we ordered our couch and ottoman things changed. They delivered our couch early(great) but no ottoman. We were rudely told by the driver that it's on the next truck. Why do you need two trucks to deliver theses items. When I called they told me they had it sitting in their warehouse ( why not delivered) then asked if I wanted to pick it up when it was supposed to be delivered with the couch which is what I payed for. They said they would deliver it by that Saturday I never received a call by any driver or the warehouse at all that day so I wasted a Saturday. then I called the following week and spoke to the manager Joel who informed me that my Ottoman was not in their warehouse which I was told twice that it was but that it was still being made because they didn't have enough material so why wasn't I told that in the beginning and just given the runaround? He told me then that it would be delivered by that Saturday and still never received it. I will be asking for my money back which is upwards of 299+ tax just for the ottoman itself. I came to this store hoping to get a good deal for my first mattress and, like every place, they are good to you they're patients with you an all that so they can sell you the product, but once you have a problem with it or something, they just treat you like trash. I came back to change my mattress because it's not good for my back, every morning I wake up with pain and can't do too many activities during the day for the same reason, it's not like I wanted to have my money back, I just wanted to change the mattress for a good one for my back and of course pay the difference, but they just denied it, they DID NOT "care for their customers"; I'm so mad I'm so sad because now I have to sell it for a reduced price and wait until I save enough money again so I can buy a good one, in the mean time I'm gonna have to keep having this awful pain every time I wake up... I'm all by myself and I dont receive money from my parents or anything so it was really hard for me to save this money for my mattress... definitely not coming back to this place.
