Costco Food Court — Restaurant in Chula Vista

I’ve always been a fan of Costco, but the food court at my local location has been a big disappointment. The inconsistency in their service is frustrating—every other week, it seems like they change their policy on whether they’re calling out order numbers or not. This leads to chaos and confusion for customers, and it’s clear that the staff isn’t on the same page about how to manage the process.

On top of that, the ice cream machine is almost always broken. It’s a small thing, but it’s disappointing when you’re looking forward to a treat and it’s unavailable time after time.

Costco is known for quality and efficiency, so it’s sad to see their food court run so poorly. I hope management steps in to address these issues and bring this location up to the standards we expect...

When is this Costco food court on Broadway ever not busy. As long as I’ve been a Costco member (almost 30yrs), I have yet to see a line that’s empty.

Like: food prices have not gone up (pizza, chicken bake, hotdog and drink), clean drink and condiment station

Dislike: the line wait (zig zag formation, no good), low on tables and chairs, not enough room to move push cart around food court

I can’t say that staff are friendly because they aren’t. But then, I wouldn’t be friendly either if I had to work day in and day out at the as a cashier and having to serve food through a tiny window and saying, “next in line!”

Food items are actually good....

BEWARE!!. Doesn't matter if you call in, pay cash or order in kiosk and then let them know, or if they tell you to wait time. They go on a first come first served basis. Not on your ticket time or the time you order the pizza. Its to who ever is on line first. I waited 1 hour for 1 whole pizza. Because she told me to wait 30 min then made line(line was like 20 min) got there and said since 30 min passed since i ordered the pizza they gave it away to someone else so i had to wait another 30 min. I wasn't the only one 3 more like me. And they don't answer the...
