Dollar General — Local services in Cicero

Can’t give this store a lower rating than this. The store is always a mess. There is one cashier working and 3 managers sitting out back smoking cigarettes wile the cashier is asking for change for other customers. I waited over 25 minutes in line and the young girl at the register is doing her best but seems like she had no help. I pulled up to the store and saw the store manager Jordan, Tawney, and Deb all smoking out back wile there was a line all the way to the back of the store. I am in the store many times a day as a live close by. There is always a long line and seems like the managers are always on a “break” or talking to one another in some isle in the store. I feel very bad for the staff that work as cashiers because the management seem to be very lazy and not wanting to...

I don't want to get after the employees. But If there is a regional manager, that's another story. Potholes in and out of the lot are just enormous. There's the usual cigarette butts outside the door from smoking rednecks who think all Jackson Township is their ashtray. The tile floor CANNOT be cleaned, has shrunk revealing gunk-filled seams and cracks over ever defect in the concrete subfloor. Why not just leave the floor bare! Dear GM of Cicero, IN Dollar General, This store is ridiculous! The store is never stocked, shelves empty, inventory carts blocking shelves and isles, dirty. Would it kill them to hire a couple of people to stock and clean the store at night so they wouldn’t have to stock and help customers at the same time?!?
