
On the 24th of July I lived a NIGHTMARE after I scheduled a hair coloring session with Jacque. She did not pay attention to what I wanted, instead she bleached my hair turning it to a bright orange tone that I paid $240 for. After the disaster, she gave me samples of products and told me that she would fix it for me for $80 more.
I felt so upset with the little English that I know. I had a conversation with Amber, one of the owners, who told me to come back the next day to get my hair done right. I did as she said, but it turned into an even bigger nightmare as Bree did another bleaching and my hair was practically the same, only now over-processed and feeling like sandpaper. I was terrified that I could have lost my hair. None of the owners wanted to take responsibility for their employeesā negligence.
Amber had previously offered me a 14-day guarantee, so I returned, and, to my great surprise, Crystal rudely offended me $100. I could tell by her tone that she did not want to deal with the situation because I do not speak English fluently. At that moment I knew that they wouldn't do anything else for me, and to be honest, I didn't want them to touch my hair either after they had shown me many times over that they do not know what they are doing. Instead, I asked them for $50 more, which would not cover the price of fixing my hair again at another location.
It is a pity that Amber and Crystal do not offer a quality service to all people regardless of their social status or race. In my case this discriminatory mistreatment because I do not speak English fluently wrecked my hair and could have caused me to lose my hair!...

Bree did an outstanding job on my hair. I told her my goals (to be a lighter blond color and get rid of my reddish tones that were from previous dye jobs), and she was knowledgeable enough to explain the services I would need to obtain those goals (red is a harder color to get rid of and my hair had been damaged from previous bleach jobs. Bleaching it more to get the blond color I wanted would damage my hair even more). Together we came up with a game plan and I was so thrilled with the results. We ended up doing a brown balayage to calm my red down and it turned out beautiful. I have another appointment scheduled for a retouch right before my wedding (again, that should clearly say something).
Kat is also amazing with her PMU skills. I had my eyebrows done and am in love with them. My only wish is that I would have found her sooner because the results were seriously outstanding. She listens to your needs and discusses the process with you so you feel confident with your decision and get the results you dreamed of. Seriously, this salon is 10/10 and I canāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a new customer at Mint, when I got there I was greeted by one of the stylists immediately shouted asking if I had an appointment, which wasn't really necessary as there was someone already at the desk. I found that interaction a little rude and off-putting. I did have an appointment with Victoria and she was very nice and right on time. She did a great job on my haircut, specially for me being a first time client of hers. When it was all done, I checked out with the same stylist that I had interacted with when I walked it. Unfortunately, she was not very friendly, didn't ask if I wanted to book another appointment, made me feel like I was interrupting her closing of the salon and gave me a very forced fake feeling compliment on my haircut. Overall it was an alright experience, I would highly recommend my stylist Victoria, but you can pay the same high salon prices and get a way better...
