Dunn Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Lexington

Sat in the drive through line for 26 minutes, it wasn't even busy. Finally got 1 sandwich that I ordered. After biting into it, I noticed it was cold. I had ordered onion and peppers and tomatoe on it so I thought ok maybe its just the cold tomatoe, but after eating more and realizing it was very cold, I realized the sausage patty was refrigerator temp cold, along with the onion and the pepper. I think they forgot to heat it up in the microwave or something. I called and got refunded but I will never go back and my review still stands. This was the 2nd time going here, and the first time, a more basic sandwich (english muffin, egg, cheese, sausage) was nuked in the microwave and was just plane garbage with he English muffing being super chewy from microwave and the cheese basically being melted off. Basically worse than like a Holiday Gas station breakfast sandwich left in the microwave 1 minute too long. So based on 2 visits and 2 experiences, it definitely deseeves a 1 star review. I have always had great experiences getting coffee at this Dunn Brothers location. Specifically this morning the staff were great. I went inside to order my coffee, keep in mind early morning so it was a busy time for them. I noticed they had a new Butterfinger coffee nirvana drink, as someone with a peanut allergy it raised a concern. So I asked the lady taking my order if my allergy would be a concern, she very kindly said I will ask my manager. The manager looked busy at the time but suddenly gave all her attention to me and my allergy and noted we do not want to take any chances so she made sure the lady who made my drink used brand new ingredients and new gloves. Moved out to Circle Pines about a month ago. My wife kids and myself absolutely love this place we stop in 3 or more times a week. All the employees are super nice and have a great happy energy and are very polite. Whoever is training the staff is obviously doing a wonderful job as well. The place is always clean the staff are clean and the food and beverages come out fast. The food is absolutely amazing. My kids love the muffins and pizza. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent and the grilled cheese is enormous. Can't say enough good things about this place.
