"Tried to give them my money. They said no. Multiple times. 😂"
Called in as a law-abiding citizen asking a simple question: “Do you guys offer any LEO discounts?” Guy says: “Yes! I’ll get back to you.” Plot twist: He never did.
So I call again, thinking maybe phones were invented after their customer service manual was printed. This time it’s, “The owner will call you.” Plot twist #2: He didn’t either. Shocking, I know.
I figured maybe I’m the problem, so I try again. This time a new guy answers who sounds like I just interrupted his midlife crisis. I explain the situation, and he hits me with that classic line: “I’ll let Dave know.” Who’s Dave? Is Dave real? Or is he the FFL Bigfoot that only shows up when it’s time to not call customers back?
Look, I don’t care about your 5% discount keep it and buy a calendar with it so someone there knows what day it is. The real issue is this never-ending loop of “We’ll get back to you” like I’m stuck in the world’s lamest Call of Duty mission: Objective: Wait for Dave.
Honestly, if the pre-sale service is this disorganized, I can only imagine what happens after you buy something. Do you just sit in the corner of the shop waiting for Dave to hand you the manual?
Anyway, I’m moving on to another shop where customer service didn’t fall asleep during orientation. God bless America 🇺🇸 And God bless all the gun shops out there that treat people like customers instead of characters in a broken sitcom rerun. #2A #WaitingForDave...

I didn't check reviews or anything, just wanted to stop by a local gun store and ask some questions about guns (total newbie btw, literally never shot a gun in my life).
The small store is absolutely packed with fishing gear n stuff, but I was able to see down the short hallway to a counter with some handguns and shotguns on display
Once I got back there I was greeted warmly and I began perusing the selection and asking my questions.
Not once did I feel any embarrassment or awkwardness or anything. I'm sure he answered many of my questions a million times but he delivered consistently great customer service.
If you're a first timer you'll need an fsc to buy a gun. They do it there for 25 bucks. I'd highly recommend choosing this place, since he was so...
Read moreBeing that I am a new gun enthusiast, I was expecting the mom & pop shops will give me the cold shoulder. So I went to Bass pro shop. Big mistake. I got a hour's worth of cold shoulder with $700 in hand to buy a Glock. So I went to these guys & was glad I did. Super cool, very patient, and got the impression that they are genuinely concerned with my lack of experience. Even the other patrons were raving about these guys. I was so impressed, I dropped almost a grand. I'm picking up my 2 weapons on Thursday and will probably by another. So if you can remember and appreciate how customer service 'used' to be, you owe it to yourselves to experience what these people have to offer. GOD...
