I'm writing this review, even though I hate the fact that I have to get there early or they sell out of my favorites, because this place is the best and the people are very friendly. I don't know what they do to make their donuts better, but whatever it is, they're the best I've ever had. Flavor wise, it's just the same as any other good donut (for the simple ones). But the texture is softer, or flakier, or creamier, not overly sweet like many other places, all depending on what you get, but the are just a step above everywhere else - or a few steps above many. I've been spoiled having eaten donuts from here, to where I can't even enjoy a donut from somewhere else. The good thing is I eat less donuts people bring to work because they aren't from here. I brought in a dozen mixed to a work meeting 2 weeks ago and every one of the 9 people asked me where they came from. 2 of the people have already traveled 30 minutes on their day off to come here. Their variety is far superior, the quality is unmatched, the staff is excellent, prices are a tad higher than other stores, but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for an occasional treat this place won't let you down. I just wish they had an actual website, and one that you could place advanced orders from. I work at 8am and specifics are often sold out by then. I have to get there early & so it would be great if I could order online the day before. But maybe that business model would be too...

Let’s start with the positive.

The donuts taste pretty good.

Not the best I’ve ever had but good enough. That is not where the complaint lies.

The experience was sub par.

The windows were dirty, and the door handle greasy.

The woman who helped was extremely rude, when greeting. Something unusual for a morning donut shop.

I understand that 3 customers may feel like a rush when the store is so small, but when your in a service business, your personal stress shouldn’t affect your attitude towards customers.

So after not smiling and speaking with an impatient tone, she proceeded to pick the donuts.

Everything seemed to be going ok, until we got home to realize she had not delivered the correct donuts.

Now I know this may seem a little overboard, leaving a negative review about your donut order, but giving us plain chocolate bars when we ordered custard filled, after having such an unpleasant attitude from the start, was a real disappointment.

Also when we asked for 3 old fashion donuts and only get 1, it’s really a problem when people are back at home eagerly awaiting the donut they ordered.

We have purchased donuts many times, and honestly this is the first donuts shop to ever screw up an order.

Definitely the worst donut...
