By far the worst place to rent from they are just plain bad.. Back in 2011 - 2013 we lived in a house that was ran by Michael. The first day we had to call them because whenever we turned the heat on it would throw the breaker. Finally they got back to us around 3pm the next day it took them to the next day to figure out that the home owner put the wrong size breaker on.. Out of 16 crank windows in the house only 4 opened the rest were all drilled shut and missing there crank handles. The back fence that blocks our backyard from US 19 kept falling down. Then the septic tank issue started, no where in the lease was it stated their was a septic tank being a female you flush feminine hygiene products it started backing up into the house from every hole. A week later he sends the septic tank guys to clear it out, only for it to start happening not even a week later. We were only flushing septic tank approved toilet paper and we put the septic tank stuff down the toilet like we were told. For weeks we couldn't shower or use the bathroom in our home. Before the septic issue was repaired the AC went out, it was out for almost 2 weeks in the middle of Summer in FL. When trying to contacted the home owner his phone was shut off and we never received a call back from Michael. Then finally when the AC people came to fix the issue but when they went in to back yard they refused to fix anything because of the health hazard in the backyard, by health hazard I mean instead of fixing the run off of the septic tank properly the home owner and his marry band of workers dug a huge hole in the backyard to let the waste fall into that. It took them almost two months to just order the part that was needed to fix the run off properly. So for almost 3 months we had a huge 4 or 5ft hole with waste in the backyard. But since the AC company wouldn't fix the AC unit until the hole was fix the home owner decided to take it upon his self and ghetto rig the AC unit which took them a week. Then about a month after this so called fixing of the AC it went out yet again and took them forever to get it fixed. Finally my fiance decided enough was enough and he thought it was a smart idea to with hold rent until things were fixed properly. But he did it the incorrect way he should of called the city and reported it got an inspector out etc. So with our story being told I just wanted to warn you. I wouldn't trust the ratings from upset people who failed to secure a good rental home from House2home Properties in this competitive rental market.
Michael has taken great care of our house in Lutz and has always, always paid attention to what was important to us - to keep the house in good condition because we planned to retire in it eventually. When our plans changed and we wanted to sell, the renters wanted to buy the house. Michael facilitated and helped with the sales WITHOUT asking for anything! That tells you that he is not driven by greed. He just wanted to do what was best for us and the renters. You will not find another property manager who would put the interest of his clients first like that.
If you are in the market for a property manager, give Michael from House2home a call - you won't regret it. If you are looking for a nice place to rent, House2home Properties would be the first I'd check out because Michael works hard to take good care of the properties he manages.

   Read moreJust moved out of one of their properties. They make up stuff as they go along. I am a licensed realtor and I had to fight them in the beginning as they did not want to pay me the lease fee, which was rightfully due to me. My broker ended up having to contact Michael and let him know he had no legal right to withhold the lease fee. Fast forward to the present when ended up having to break our lease early as we purchased a home. We had the property professionally cleaned and ready to re-let. They found a new tenant. We receive our deposit back and they have taken out deductions for part of my lease fee which they are NOT legally able to do so. Then they also charged us for electricity they had on at the property AFTER we had surrendered possession. We were not responsible to pay for electricity once we surrendered possession and they accept.
RUN RUN RUN, these people make up stuff as they go along, and will steal your money and make up reasons to keep your deposit.
