Ordered a doormat online on 8/26. After waiting over the maximum of 14 business days as the email stated, I had no update and the status still showed as processing at store. I called the store and the first time the associate told me that it was an online order so I would have to call customer service, they canât help with online ship to store orders.
Then I called customer service, they looked into the order and said that it was released to the store so they shouldâve had it and if they had any issues to have them call store support. Called the store back, talked to the same associate she said she would look in the back to see if it was misplaced back there. Came back and said she couldnât find it and in the process of trying to explain to me how an online product being sent to the store happens, it not being currently in their store and another mixup with a different order while having her manager talking to her in the background about it (I could hear him speaking to her about my order specifically). It seems like nobody both in store or calling into customer service are on the same page of how the transaction process actually works.
Thankfully, I was able to cancel the order and Iâm waiting on a refund but definitely donât try to order and pick up...
Read moreI want to preface this by saying I am so disappointed to have had this experience as frequent Kirklands customers. We are huge fans of their home decor and up until now have had nothing but great experiences. Today, which is Black Friday, my husband and I went shopping at Kirklands and as we were filling up our cart and picking things out my husband found a sweater he was in love with and put on immediately and as we were in line getting ready to pay for everything. Glenn came up and asked us if he could take the sweater and hold it at the register because he found it âweirdâ my husband was wearing it. Mind you my husband is arabic brown and well if its not a race issue they should have thought things through because thats 100% what it felt like. After my husband said no thank you he will hold on to it Glen made a spectacle went to the cashiers made sure they kept an eye on us and watched us up until we paid. Such an uncomfortable experience and when we made sure to show him our card so he knew we paid he proceeded to call us crazy to another employee to our faces....

But all that stress will come washing back over you when you take a break from your shopping spree to use the restroom! What a mess. The bathrooms (3-18-17) are hidden in a hallway behind an unmarked red door in the back, left of the store. There are two single bathrooms, so you will enjoy plenty of privacy. But the accommodations end there. Lot of dirt and grime on the floor, and the paper towel holder will disappoint any respectful germaphobe. Nothing fun on the walls, which is a major letdown for a store with such readily available decorating...
