Shoppers Beware. Zero stars for this so called "grocery" store. No return or exchange policy. Unprofessional owner. Beware of the fish. Purchased Snapper, Corvina steaks, and shrimp. The Snapper is okay, so far, but my son developed an instant allergy after biting into the Corvina steak. My husband and I didn't, so we figured my son had a new allergy. Let me say, he's never had a food allergy before and eats lots of fish. The shrimp smelled a little fishy and was really dirty, but I still tried to cook it. Bad idea. It tasted bad and was inedible. I tried to exchange it for another item, but the owner told me that HE would lose money and could not take it back Additionally, he said I cooked some of it, and the clincher, other people have not complained, so this is just my experience, he said. I guess my money loss and the seasonings I used to cook it, was a non issue. I would also beware of the meat repackaged in ziplock bags. Not sanitary. Went on a friend's recommendation. It's in a small strip mall - doesn't look like much from the outside. They have a wide variety of meats at unbelievably low prices. Bought 7 pounds of filet at $6.99 a pound. Have to buy in 3-5 pound pieces and it had some fat and sinew but after cutting it all off, had 6 1/2 pounds of really nice filet. Probably would have tried some other cuts, but only a couple had English names and I didn't know what most of them were.
