From the moment I walked through the doors of New York Massage, Inc., I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere immediately put me at ease …greeted by two kind, humble gentlemen with beautiful spirits and smiling faces. Their energy alone sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. I received the works….massage, body scrub, and earwax cleaning and every service was absolutely amazing. The massage alone helped relieve tension and stress I didn’t even realize I was carrying. I was able to move in ways I hadn’t in a long time due to built-up tension, and the relief was almost immediate. The body scrub left my skin feeling incredibly soft, vibrant, and glowing — truly the best I’ve ever seen my skin look and feel. The care and attention to detail made me feel like I was the most important person in the room. This was A1 service all the way through. I have been going to New York Massage periodically for about 5 years and have been generally pleased, but my last visit has compelled me to no longer use this business. Laszlo has been mostly professional and pleasant, but did not fully listen to my needs/requests and spent little time in my specific area of need. This was an issue with my previous massage as well, so I tried to be extra clear before we started but unfortunately it didn’t make a difference. I spoke with Michael and Laszlo after my massage and voiced my displeasure and was told that Laszlo is the professional and knows best, Michael stands behind him 1000%, and if I’m not happy with the service, there’s nothing they can do for me. I told them I wanted to give them a chance to make it right before I left a review, but was given no other option. I would not have left a review for the massage alone, but the short and dismissive response from the owners has compelled me to do so. After traveling internationally for two days & not sleeping on a plane or at home due to the time difference for a couple days I needed a massage to relax. I looked on Google Maps and found New York Massage less than 5 minutes from my house.
