Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Citrus Park

This will be the second time in about 2 months that we are told our delivery will be 20-30 and over an hour later no pizza. We only live a mile and half away, and if they would tell us initially the wait would be over an hour then of course we would select pick up (even if it is less convenient). First occurrence I called twice and after an hour and half was told "well you can come pick it up it's sitting right here"... 1) not thrilled about paying $40 for a cold pizza and 2) I'm currently a bottle of wine deep so not going out driving. Had them cancel my order and return $$ and never got any kind of discount for our next order (which seems atypical in the food customer industry but whatever). Second occurrence we figured we'd give them another shot because I love their thin crust pizza... but here we are again over an hour since we ordered and delivery was expected to be 30 min... and we are driving to pick up because this was supposed to here long ago. We haven’t had Pizza Hut for the longest time and wanted to try something out of the normal routine so we placed an online order. We also wanted to try their stuffed crust and to see if the Pizza was / is as good as we remember. We also ordered some wings to go along with the pizza.

We did contactless order where we parked out front of the store location and used text messaging to inform the store of our arrival. Pizza Hut has a big sign out from with all the instructions, so that made the process much easier and convenient for all parties.

The food was delicious. It tasted better than we had remembered, even better than those times we used to order in Baltimore.

The delivery person was very nice, he did not do contactless delivery like requested. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience as we have a barking dog and sleeping baby and prefer not to have to deal with them both being riled up by the doorbell. But the main issue was the stuffed crust pizza was 1/10 quality. It tasted like days old pizza reheated. The ‘stuffed crust’ cheese was leaking out of the crust all over the pizza, my husband thought I had ordered ricotta cheese bc that’s what it looked like. The main crust was razor thin. I would hesitate to ever order Pizza Hut again… between delivery fees and tip this was a nearly $40 order for a really gross pizza. I will just get frozen next time, the quality is far...
