Great venue and delicious food but everything else was a disaster. We paid for the whole ballroom for a graduation party, but only half of the ballroom was setup. Was told there was going to be a sound system that we can use, but it wasn't working so got the microphone to make the best out of it. We figure it's a small issue and didn't want to be upset over it and enjoy the evening but as we progress more and more issues surfaced. The dinner was served with missing main dish item. Kids were supposed to have their own buffet setup, instead it was setup with the main buffet. All these mistakes, They simply said oh well, it's our mistake but your bad and even though everyone already ate we will bring your missing item and if you don't need it take it home. Even the server said "I feel bad for you,". The person in-charge "Ted" didn't care about anyone's feeling or their mistakes. There was no reasoning with Ted, he didn't listen and didn't care. I was upset on how things were unfolding and wanted him to acknowledge the mistakes but he would not listen. I even asked him how he would feel if this was his party and all those things that happened to me was happening to him but no response. he just ignores you with a great smile. Also, I had a open bar and my guests later mentioned they were charged for drinks and were short on changes as well. He also charged me almost $434 for drinks/w 20% gratuity that i do not think could've consumed by 30 guests. Also i was charge $2 per glass soda that was supposed to be part of the banquet package. I paid top dollar to have this party and i was taken to the cleaner by the Ted and his crew. Makes polish community look really bad. We also run non profit in the area as well but this one is one of most poorly run establishment that only cares about ripping people off to make few dollars. Never going there again and people be aware, you will be ripped off to the extend that you have never...

When we showed up the night before the event to set up we realized that they had put a divider up and separated the room in to 2 rooms. We got 1/3 of the room we thought we were getting. We were so upset. We realized that the other party was a wedding, and also had a DJ. The divider was not sound proof and up until the wedding was over we could hear their music clear as day. During the introductions and speeches, when our music was turned down, all we could hear was the wedding DJ blasting music. Many of our guest said they could not hear what we were saying. There were mostly adults present at the party. The bar that we were shown was not on our half of the room!! They opened a service port in the side of the wall that went into the kitchen and used that as the bar. It was terrible. Every time someone ordered a drink and they didn't have the liquor or ingredient at our make shift bar the 1 bartender had to walk to the real bar to get it. It would take a few minuets and it left our makeshift bar unattended for much of the night. Also, during the first 20 minuets of the party the beer tap was broken and no one could get a beer. We also had a fondu guy there. Because of the size of the room, he had to set up in a corner out of the way. Most people didn't even know he was there. They were also supposed to set up the tables and centerpieces. We were just supposed to show up the night before with a few personal touches. When we showed up they had the wrong color tablecloths, wrong color ceiling drapes and the tables and chairs were just thrown all over the room in no order. We spent 5 hours setting up the room and correcting...
Read moreI am not a big google review person, but truly wanted to share how amazing this place is. This past weekend, my 9 year old son and myself attended the lunch with Santa, an event held here each year. I am not a member, but it is open to the public by reservation. I really have to say, this was such an enjoyable afternoon! Barbara and Kim, the organizers, with the help of all the volunteers did such an awesome job, they were so organized with so much attention to detail, the tables, decorations, stockings for the kids, crafts at the tables for the kids. The food was so delicious also! The appetizers, chicken tenders and fries for the kids, ( which my picky eater loved!) the adult buffet and then a dessert table. Each child got a really great gift from Santa and got to take pictures with him. My son was so excited to get home and put his Lego car together. So many happy kids and parents! Thank you all for spreading so much Christmas joy, you all are amazing!
I have been to the Polish American Center for weddings and a few other events over the years, I can honestly say, it has always been a wonderful experience...
