Dollar General — Local services in City of Middletown

Honestly im very disgusted and disappointed. I always go here to buy household items that i may need but today i sent my mom who doesn’t speak English and my cousin drove her. He doesn’t speak English at all aswell but he was waiting for her outside in the car. NEVER have i EVER had the cashier walk out the store and come up to the car to ask how long id be parked there. To rush your customers is extremely rude and to add on to that, When my mother paid this gentleman went to the back to check if her bills were real. The guy who did this was in his mids 40s he had black hair and a beard and tattoos on his arm. TRUSTTT me i will be contacting corporate because i can assure you that going up to customers cars to ask how long are they going to take during the early...

They need to get the store operations together. In a one week span, the cashier had food poisoning and looked like he was about to pass out while ringing me up . I told him he should go home but he said he couldn't leave due to short staff 😕. Second visit, the store closed early around 3pm on a Saturday due to short staff. Everyone outside including myself was upset. My visit today two days later, their wifi goes out and the card machine does not work. I hardly ever carry cash so I had to leave my stuff at the register and leave. Very disappointing because the store has a lot of things. I feel sorry for the staff they need to hire more people and get this store operating better. I won't be going back...

Not a dollar store but has many items for a dollar. I find this store has great prices on most household goods and their prices on snacks can't be beat. It's worth the time to look around and I'm sure you'll find something you need. Closest comparison is Family Dollar stores but usually more organized...
