Dollar General — Local services in City of North Tonawanda

Went to this spot to buy some coffee creamer and get some cash back. After paying a 1 dollar to get 10 dollars cash back, I was then told by Katelyn that she could not give me singles even after I paid a dollar to even get cash back in the first place. Also there were some kids who came in with quarters before me, the kids were told to go and get single dollars from another store in the area and told they could not use their quarters before coming back to dollar general. These were kids! They had about 10 dollars in quarters. I don't know what's going on at this location but it seems to be a lot of unspoken rules here that are written nowhere in the company policy. Understanding it's a dollar store.. ok.. but On a busy street.. open the latest out of all the other dollar general around here you would think they would be stoked.. have a decent amount of employees and be kind of organized and clean. Every single time I've been in here the workers aren't helpful at all .. the store is never stocked. Not even a decent supply of ANYTHING. HOLIDAY seasonal isle is non existent. Items marked down and on sale aren't even advertised. I only knew they were in sale because I was at the store on nash on my way home. A typical Dollar General. Like other chains, it was not too fully stocked nor straightened. I don't blame the staff. It's no win situation. Unless your sales numbers go up, your manpower hours stay flat,but unless you have the manpower to put up stick, you can't put out all your stock, even if your manager works like 70 hours a week.
