The order was placed through the app at 6:33 PM. When I arrived at the restaurant around 7:15 PM I was advised they had not received the order. I showed the cashier the confirmation email that I received and the confirmation of the order on the app as well. She proceeded to go back through the computer. Apologized and said they were really busy, but was unable to locate any order ticket. I was advised they were unable to fulfill the order until they received the printed ticket to guarantee payment, if They made the food and released it to me without the ticket that they would lose their jobs. She proceeded to call the owner of the store who advised that they cannot release the order until they had the printed ticket and if I wanted to, I could re-order repay and then try to get my money back from my credit card company. The owner claimed the order didn't go through due to my payment not working. The cashier explained to the owner that I had proof that the order was placed to the right store, order was confirmed, and the order had been paid for however the owner was refusing to either honor the order placed and paid for already or to issue a refund. After an 30 minutes of back and forth, they found the order in the system and could now make the subs. Never going...
Read moreStephanie was rude the minute I walked in and asked about taking coupons. Her exact reply was, "Our owner does not do coupons, I own a business, things are expensive, we cannot afford to take coupons!" I immediately informed her that I too owned a business and was extremely well aware of the increased costs as I own a trucking company, but still enjoy saving money at places I shop. When I asked her what kind of business she supposedly owned she replied with, "I do photos!" I was done trying to talk any rationale to her so I just stood there and watched her prepare food. Upon standing there waiting for fresh cookies to be baked I watched her touch everything in the store including handles to coolers, the hinges on the other cooler doors, and even the cash drawer after taking money as well as other things and never once did I see her change her gloves before touching other peoples food who walked into the store. She kept the same exact gloves on that she put on when I walked in the store. The other girl however did change her gloves after making someones food before making another customers. My total time in the store was about 15 mins waiting on my food order and for them to bake fresh out of the over cookies as they ran...
Read moreSeriously??? Bob went to SUbway in oneida to get us sandwiches. I could have died when he told me the cost and then our sandwiches were STALE. I mean super stale. Bread sitting out all day or since yesterday stale, WTSnap? I called to complain and let them know I was not satisfied. They wanted me to bring the sandwiches back. well we both ate the better of half of the sandwich. It was not inedible, but for the price the very least i expect is fresh bread. I mean eat fresh in oneida subway must mean something different. I was too busy to go all the way back up there, but I was sooooo very annoyed. I dont like them much anyway, especially since you can get a better sandwich at red apple, blimpies, or nice and easy. This sealed the deal for me. No more subway. SO now I wont eat at subway, nor will we eat at El Canelo. Just so you know folks, the answer to hard financial times is never to drop the quality of your food. Once that happens, people are done and all it takes is one overpriced bad meal and poor...
