Crust Pie Co. — Local services in City of Rochester

As a baker, I can confidently say this bakery is the best in Rochester. I stopped in last Saturday at around 10am. I had very high hopes for this place. THEY WERE EXCEEDED.

The atmosphere was lovely and not too busy. There was one employee working behind the counter that was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. It's located near Ashland park and there was ample street parking. I paid around $30 (tip included). The pricing was incredible fair for the quality. I purchased (1) garlic bun, (1) caramel apple pie slice, (1) lemon scone, (1) chicken pot pie. I paid just around $30 plus tip. Everything was incredibly fresh. The chicken pot pie was still warm and very delicious. It was loaded with juicy chicken, edamame, potatoes and sealed in a flaky, buttery crust.

Since CRUST opened, I haven't had a single thing that wasn't delicious! The breakfast hand pies are my go to, but the oatmeal cream pies, meat pies, cream pies, fruit pies, cookies, and stuffed garlic bread are all amazing 😛

Respect that they are a small business: They are about QUALITY. They aren't producing thousands of products for mass distribution. With that being said, yes, sometimes they are going to run out of things, but it means they aren't wasting anything they have spent precious time producing. The pricing for their homemade goods is, in my opinion completely on point and reasonable.

We started getting goodies from Crust Pie Co. this year at the Brighton Farmers Market, and I can’t recommend them enough! Every item I’ve had there has been AMAZING (especially those cream cheese garlic buns). My family has tried multiple hand pies, rolls, baked goods, and scones from them and we have never been disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and are always willing to answer questions and give suggestions. They have become one of my new go-tos at the market and I can’t wait to visit their storefront in person. I’m so happy to see they’ve been getting so much great business....
