Howard's Foam and Fabrics — Local services in City of Rochester

I phoned Howard's Foam and Fabrics when they opened this morning - Tuesday 8/20/24 - and asked if I could take in two loveseat cushions. Tina was so polite on the phone. My daughter and I drove there and Tina removed one of the cushions from my daughter and we followed her down a few steps into a large room. She measured each cushion and explained what foam, etc. they would use. Then Bob arrived and said, "I bet they have yellow foam inside." He was correct. I mentioned that on 4/22/11 I had purchased the loveseat and 1-1/2 sized chair. When my brother from NC visited last year, he informed me the furniture was great; it was the cushions that needed replaced. After paying, my daughter and I went to lunch. By the time we arrived home, there was a message from Tina: the cushions were done. We were amazed and off we went again to pick them up. Bob showed us how thick they were now. Once home, I put them on the loveseat and my daughter and I sat on each one. She said, "These feel better than when they were even new." Next month I will be calling and returning with the cushion from the chair. Tina said that they will give me the same discount on the foam that I received today. I couldn't wait to do a review on this company. They are amazing and I recommend them highly. Thank you to Tina and Bob for your kindness and to whichever employee did...

I needed to replace sofa cushions that had lost their firmness. This is a sofa from a well known high end furniture store, which was purchased only 3 years ago for over $3000. I could no longer sit on the sofa and feel any kind of support.

I took the cushions into the store on a Wednesday, and less than 24 hours later I had brand new cushions. There is a huge difference now in the firmness and comfort of my sofa.

I received outstanding customer service and the store’s personnel provided me with detailed information about foam density and quality. The quality of their work is exceptional.

I will be returning to the store to have the loveseat cushion re-stuffed, as there is such a huge difference in the quality of the original foam cushions and the replacement cushions. They are better than when the sofa was brand new.

Don’t replace your furniture all you need are...

I am so p**LEASED! I was feeling a little sketchy about this when I got there to drop off my cushions.. 5 sofa seats that were almost 30 years old and had seen 2 generations of teenagers go through them. But everyone was really helpful and informative, and explained everything to me and showed me samples. The price was very fair... much less expensive than investing in a new love seat let alone a new love seat and sofa that I doubt the durability would have even come close to my 30 year old set. One thing I wasn't expecting was that they would fill them enough to even plump them out to take up the extra stretch in the seat covers. Made things a LITTLE tight packing them back into the love seat and sofa, but the results are amazing. So brand new looking, and so FIRM again! Time and $ very well spent. Pity they don't replace carpets, too... excellent workmanship on...
