Honestly, I'm giving this place a 4 out of 5 because I've only tried 1 thing on the menu. It's the fried fish platter, mine came with rice and salad, and pita bread. It was fantastic. As a selective foodie, cause I'm not really picky, just have a high quality taste palette. The rice and fish was so flavorful and seasoned! SEASONED WITH ACTUAL SPICES not just salt and black pepper with tarter sauce 😩. The fish was fried and crispy. They even put flavor in the rice with garlic too. 5/5 for my meal.
The people there are polite and accommodating. Willing to add things to cater to your taste, for me, I like spicy so they added jalapeno pepper. The first time I went there I actually just asked to use the bathroom, and they let me. Which was considerate, since I didn't have to buy anything.
I got there pretty late, but the guy at the front was patient and nice
The atmosphere was nothing special. It's like every other Hots establishment. However, I'm not sure why there are office chairs facing tables in the back end. Random, but maybe it was just that night
As for the price point, it's pretty pricey. Not different from the prices you'd see in Mall food.

This time I ordered the haddock fish, spicy with mayo, veggies, and mozzarella cheese.
I'm disappointed. I was so hyped to eat this sandwich but now I'm not. The bread was on the stove top, but I guess it was the cold part because it's cold and regular. Not even slightly toasted. The fish is fried just how I like it and spicy, but the sandwich was dry and looked rushed. No mayo, no cheese. If I had cheese or mayo at home, it would have been fine but I didn't 😩. I'm so sad. Also, I don't eat meat, so I hate cross cooking . Taking the spatula you put the meat in a customer sandwich with and picked up my veggies is a big no. I paid $17 and some change, I can't even eat it! I even added condiments, but it's just not giving. This is my third time going there and last time. It's not a cheap place for me not to be able to eat what I bought.
Granted, I called, the guy said bring it back, but it was around 10:15 and I don't drive. Could go back if I wanted to.

However customer service and delivery is disappointing in so many ways! i ordered my food at 8:33pm my order was expected to be here around 9:20pm. I didnt get my food till 10:06pm. When I called they said they sent there drive out with it a while ago and I should of already gotten it. Then when the driver fully pulled up all i asked was "what took you so long hunny?" The driver then told me "its the place I ordered from fault they took long with my food." So I then called confused on how I just got off the phone with them and they said it should be there then the driver telling me something completely different. The lady who answers the phone then says that oh they send them out with multiple orders. but before hand she was confused that she sent the order and it was over a hour later and me not having it. Then when I said well I'd like to talk to a manager about your delivery system problem it was we have 2 managers on right now who would you like to talk to? I upsetly said whoever can talk to me the fastest. Then I'm on hold and both managers supposedly there cant even speak with me and that I might not hear back till tomorrow. I really feel she didn't even take down my info to notify her manager or the 2 supposedly right with her. She is just a cashier so she has no power. But I never have had a experience where a manager on staff can't even talk to me. Like I said food honestly great even with it being with the driver for more than a hour. But customer service is highly lacking with west ridge hots. So disappointed that I feel my situation isn't even going to matter...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews when I’ve had a bad experience, but in this case I’m going to make an exception because what I just experienced a few minutes ago was completely unacceptable! I called to place an order for pickup, & they instantly tell me to hold on, which is fine…. But what is NOT fine is HAVING ME ON HOLD FOR 34 FREAKING MINUTES while I can literally hear you take multiple orders while I wait for my order to be taken.
I understand you may be busy with in-store orders, but for it to get to 34 minutes and no one even bother to give something as simple as an apology for the wait is complete trash. I mean, after a certain point, any reasonable person would be like, “hey I’ve taken like 5 or 6 customers, let me get on the phone and take this order or at least let them know I’ll be with them soon.” That doesn’t seem like too much of a damn stretch.
