I have been in business for 35 years and I can definitively state that this is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure in dealing with. I am now adding to the very long list of others who have obviously had the same experience. The sales representative at first came across as very knowledgeable and willing to do whatever was needed. There was something suspicious to me about his attitude and I should have trusted those instincts. My current company was not able to have individuals absorb the interest charges and so I was considering switching to Merchant Lynx because they stated that they could. The one caveat was that it needed to be compatible with my exisiting management software. The sales representive assured me that it would be compatible for a flat monthly fee with no other charges. My plan was to initiate Merchant Lynx to begin processing on 2/1/22. Early in January I was charged for equipment I was never told I needed. I was told that this equipment would be necessary because my software was NOT compatible. One mishap led to another and I called prior to 2/1 to let this company know I did not want to begin processing transactions and cancel. I was assured there would be no cancellation fee because I never actually began any processing. Well guess what... they did charge me a cancellation fee. I have every conversation well documented with names and dates. My bank has been VERY helpul in disputing these charges, so I am confident the issue will be resolved thanks to them. If I could choose "zero stars" i would have... DO NOT FOR ANY REASON USE MERCHANT LYNX...
Read morePlease please please do not sign up with these guys if you need to start using a credit card terminal or thinking about switching! They will show you a great rate and give it to you for only a little while to only slowly change it the longer your with them. That’s what they did to me! So I ended my account, it cost $495 just to end it on top of that they still charged me $19 a month for 3 months after my account was closed claiming that that fee is attached to the card machine, whatever that means. Then after a total of 5 months being cancelled they charged me a fee of $159. And the person I talked to said I will have another fee of $159 coming up in a couple months.... how can you trust a company like this, yea sure it’s in their contract, which is pages and pages and hidden so you can’t see it. Please don’t make the same mistake as me. By the time I’m done paying fees I’ll be paying nearly $1000 just to end my account.
