I have been wanting to try this ice cream and candy shop for a good while now. Today I finally went in and overall left unsatisfied. I like the atmosphere they are creating by having all types of candy and pops everywhere. They really do offer a lot of items. Having all these items is great but if you have small kids it becomes a little bothersome. I say this because not all of the candies are cheap. There are a few that are fairly inexpensive, however there are many items that are expensive. if you have many children it becomes annoying fast. Our ice cream order was 1 dole whip, 1 small vanilla soft serve in a cup with rainbow sprinkles, 1 buffalo bills lemon ice, and 1 large vanilla soft serve with sprinkles in a cone. The dole whip and the bills lon ice were good but the soft serve is terrible and they only have vanilla and pineapple dole whip ( I don't know if they alternate flavors from time to time for the dole whip). I don't know what brand of soft serve or its fat content but its watery, icy and nearly flavorless. I did not enjoy my ice cream at all. I really hope they change it. I really wanted to like this place because it is very close to my house. But sadly I will most likely never go there again unless I hear they have new soft serve options. The staff were pleasant pleasant besides one thing the male cashier did (who I believe to be the owner). He had a spit cup for his chew or pouch right on the back counter. The cup was a large hard plastic cup that you couldn't see through, but it was still disgusting that he was doing this while serving a customer and continued while cashing us out...
Read moreAfter seeing so many of the boxing videos of people's candy orders (starting during 2020's shutdowns; check out their TikToks), we've been meaning to stop in, and we finally did. The new location is pretty spacious, and even has outdoor seating. There were multi-level tables of candy, shelves of candy, racks of candy, and two different bulk candy areas. In this mix were classic candies, modern candies, and foreign candies with tons of flavor options. (We got a mango & hot pepper gummy that was absolutely amazing!)
A new thing that they have in the new location is ice cream! They have more than 20 different hard ice cream flavors, but also have chocolate and vanilla soft-serve ice creams as well, so you can get cones, sundaes, and shakes. Not surprisingly, they have a nice selection of toppings to sprinkle over cones and such. Given that they're located right across the street from the bike trail that we frequent during nice weather, we're expecting to stop in one of the summer days that we're out biking in the area.
There was also a long wall of shelves of specialty sodas (and a small fridge by the registers with a selection of chilled bottles), with flavors running from ginger and cream sodas to things like mustard soda!
The guy working there when we came in was really helpful, pointing out items we might have missed, explaining about the bulk candy areas and the ice cream options, and making sure that we got a rewards card with...
Read moreI found their store on tiktok, and decided to head in today on my day off. I live about a half hour away, and the drive was definitely worth it. The owner greeted me and offered help as I walked in the door, and as I browsed I heard her talking with the other customers. She's very friendly and helpful. They have a large selection of just about everything, particularly gummies. I got a decent selection, along with other candies like frooties, kitkats, and snickers. There's also a large assortment of sodas, ranging from normal flavors to weird ones, like dirt. I think everything was fairly priced for the portions. While the store is small, it's filled with so much candy. I'll definitely come back. I especially hope that over time, they'll get a larger selection of gluten free candy. The online stock and the storefront stock is separate, so you don't have to worry about them being constantly out of stock. I definitely recommend this place if you have a...
