Colosso Taco & Pizza Express — Restaurant in City of Tonawanda

Ordered from colosso on many occasions and had food delivered quite a few times. today I ordered and received a text from the delivery driver that my order was left in the hallway. I then checked my hallway, nothing. checked through the whole building, nothing. went outside and checked outside of both doors. still nothing. I text the driver back that I don't see my food anywhere. he said he left it at the main door where the other cars are parked. still nothing was outside I even checked at both doors to the building next to me. so I called the restaurant, a woman answers and rudely tells me the drivers been standing outsid waiting for me and to call him. while I'm on the phone the delivery driver now calls me, I answer he asks me to meet him outside. I go outside. walked around the parking lot so he wouldn't miss me. I tell him I've been outside, he sends me a screenshot of his location. he's on another street that isn't even my street. I Google my address and screenshot the map location of my address with my address again listed on top and send it to him. he says I'll be there in 4 minutes. 9 minutes passes, and mind you he's basically around the corner. I message him and ask if hes still lost because ya know, maybe I can help him figure it out. he doesn't respond. I try to call him. he doesn't answer. now I'm aggravated. I call the restaurant and I speak with the manager who starts yelling at me as if it's my fault. she starts of by telling me their driver wasted 45 minutes trying to find my address and it's not their problem that he's a 17 year old kid who can't figure out how to google my address. I tell her I googled my address and it gave me the correct location and tell her I just want my money back. she says that she called me immediately (she didn't) when the driver couldn't deliver the food. I told her that I didn't understand how it went from they dropped the food off to they couldn't find my address to drop it off. she tells me again it's not their problem and to contact slice which was the service I used to order the food. I told her that's fine and tell her it's upsetting because I've ordered so many other times and never had an issue. she basically laughed. I told her that I wouldn't order from there again and she said that's fine.

I guess they don't like having business.

I can understand some people have bad days but from the sounds of the other reviews, this woman just sounds like a horrible manager period. and if that's their idea of customer service then good riddance. I now see why when I called colosso taco in Niagara falls for a corporate number, they sounded very proud of not being affiliated with the...

We order from here often usually once a week. On 7/27/2023 I ordered two pizzas and 20 wings. The special was a large and 20 wings and an additional large with pepperoni, sausage,and onions. The cheese and pepperoni was perfect thumbs up as well as the wings!! The large with the three toppings was the issue. The pizza was burnt as if they left it in too long. Maybe forgot to put a topping on and had to put it back in. Onions were diced mixed in with sauce and uncooked. The sausage was crumbled and was ok. The lower level of cheese, (like they toke it out added toppings and then put more cheese on) the crust, and bottom of the pizza was burnt as well as the pepperoni. I feel ordering two pizzas at the same time and getting one that is cooked to expectations of the past and one that well was only half ate only because people were hungry is not fair. It's not like they can say that's how we make our pizza because it's not!!! Something went on with the three toppings pizza to serve it is disrespectful especially handing out with another pizza of the same order. I paid just shy $60 altogether. In the past I used to tip in the jar on at least three occasions I would put a of couple of dollars each time. However I have stopped after the last without any recognition of my gesture. All I'm asking for is to please be aware of the food that is being served. I had friends over I chose to entertain with your establishment making food and was let down. Mmmmmmm paste in shells.. So signature and quality that im realzing im sitting here writing a review while the already cold tacos are unfinished.. Probably forever.... They said the cold ingredients are the cause... But listed cheese among them........like... Your NAME is COLLOSO TACO so when i come in and blow 15 on an order and its literally nothing but a meat paste with no consistency and he LITERALLY MADE IT COLD AND IN 3 MINS. Idk if your other orders are decent? But..... Change your damn name..... These are by far the worst tacos ive ever bought which the quality causes the allure of size to result in a colosso waste of money on a cold colosso pile of paste...that you can't even MELT THE CHEESE?!? Come on...... Learn how to manage a resteraunt, advertise one, and pick better staff w real work ethics. OH! THE ONLY TV IS IN THE KITCHEN..... FOR THE WORKERS NOT CUSTOMERS LOL NO WONDER I HAD TWO SUPER COLOSSO TACOS IN 2 MINUTES. Lmfao get real... You guys are only in business bc you lucked out on location and serve to drunks ending up the only option. DON'T EAT HERE THINKING IT LIVES UP TO THE NAME AT 4:00PM WHEN THERE WAS ONE OTHER CUSTOMER. All in all this places most enjoyable part was the falsely advertised arcade machines that said 25c but really cost a dollar for a play as well as Rob you for 2 extra quarters.
