Locally owned sandwich shop. Remarkably stacked sandwiches- very generous servings! They have an assortment of creations to pick from, or a create-your-own option. Choices include cold and hot sandwiches, soups, salads, sides (fries, onion rings, chips), pickles (from the barrel or fried), a children's menu, cookies, and so on. Deli products are sliced fresh (also available by the pound), and veggies are nice and crisp! Prices seem a little steep, until you realize you will have leftovers or will be too full to eat your next meal! There are a few tables inside to eat at, and they offer takeout. Great place to stop for lunch! (I plan to return for the fish fry- they have hush puppies!!) UPDATE: Returned for the Shrimp Basket & Hush Puppies. Had the Beef on Weck sandwich. It would have been excellent but my first time having a Weck and I couldn't enjoy it due to the gross amount of salt on the bun (at least 5x required amount of salt, see photo). I couldnt brush off the massive pile of salt, it soaked into the bun. If you like that, then you'll love this, but it definitely wasn't for me. The beef and au jus part of sandwich were great. I would have given the "food" component of my rating 2 star, but that's not fair, since I just didn't like the salted Weck bun... that's what it's supposed to be (a heavily salted bun). High quality specialty sandwiches and great service make this a great lunch stop. Brett and the team are dedicated to providing the finest experience for their customers. My first specialty was the Cuban. The roast pork was so tender and the right pickle goes a long way toward making this sandwich. Today, I went with the Muffaletta, the New Orleans classic. The meat and cheese were so fresh and the olive salad was the perfect balance. All served on a traditional round roll. The portion is half a round, and I could finish half of that.
