I went and did a carbon facial with Sasha, which was good. She was very sweet. They messed up our appointments because I called and scheduled two facials, but they only scheduled one. To accommodate for the mixup, Azel offered my mom a complementary 10 units of botox. It was a kind gesture from him to do so and we rescheduled her carbon facial as well. However, the day of her facial my mom had an emergency come up. When I called to reschedule because of the unexpected situation, he said that next time we come in he will charge her for the facial she did not get and for the treatment she is getting that day as well because we cancelled so late. I understand a late cancellation is inconvenient for any business, however, he could have handled the situation in a more respectful and professional way. This is something he should notify his clients of in advance, not when they are calling to cancel. Emergencies happen and she shouldn't have to pay for a treatment she didn't receive, especially since we weren't told about this policy in advance. We were going to come back with some of her friends for Botox, but now he lost 6 clients in one day because of his unprofessionalism. Conveniently, now this policy comes up as I am cancelling. He should have warned us about this policy while booking the appointment, not be shocked with while dealing with an emergency at the same time because in his words "we have to accommodate to him that he now lost that hour time slot".
