I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Market, an Irish food store, today. It seems that they have a complete disregard for proper pricing and transparency. To start with, none of the items in the store had prices on them, which immediately raised concerns.
When I attempted to purchase a packet of potato crisps, I was shocked to be charged three dollars for it. I questioned the store owner about the price, asking why he didn't have prices displayed for all items. Instead of providing a satisfactory answer, he simply shrugged and insisted that three dollars was the correct price. This lack of accountability and refusal to address my concerns left me feeling unheard and dissatisfied.
The ordeal continued when I tried to purchase two small bags of items. To my disbelief, the store owner attempted to charge me a staggering $170! It was evident that this was an outrageous overcharge, and it became clear that caution is necessary when buying from this store.
Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at Market.
