I had to update my review I had no problems with my egg sandwiches but after ordering the chicken cutlet sandwich on two occasions and receiving chicken that was so old it was unchewable i had to update review. I returned the sandwich but my son ate the sandwich. He ended up with diarrhea and I ended up returning mine because this was the second time. The first time I just trashed and figured it was a fluke. But TWO times shows me this establishment has no problem selling its customers freezer burnt meat. I’m 55 and I know what old freezer burned chicken is. This was clearly old freezer burned or dried chicken cutlets that were breaded and fried. I even showed cashier how the meat was so hard that it could not be broken apart by my fingers and instead of her apologizing she argued with me saying meat was not old. I have cooked plenty of chicken cutlets and have learned through out my years THAT when chicken is not wrapped properly and is exposed to air in freezer or left out it hardens and if attempted to cook it is hard. I ended up getting my money back but instead of an apology I got an argument. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. A restaurant that serves old meat to a customer on more than one occasion is not an accident. The cashier was rude and on more than one occasion they have tried to overcharge when the prices are clearly marked on board. This place is crossed off my list and I DO...

I’ve never felt more uncomfortable! I’ve been going to this shop since I moved into the area 3 years ago. Every Sunday morning as I’m walking my dog we stop in and get sandwiches. Today as I head in I see there a no pets sign. I tried my best to leave my dog outside but since she’s a puppy I and the people in the community didn’t think that was best and instead I just carried her inside with me. My dog was well behaved, didn’t bark nor jump on anyone. As I was leaving a male worker thought he’d confront me on bringing in my dog. I apologized, grabbed my food and as I was leaving he kept following me outside yelling at me for my dog. He went up the block with me until he reached his bike. I have never felt so embarrassed. I don’t think I’ll ever feel comfortable going back to this bagel shop,...

This is my first time and most likely my last. Sent my girlfriend to get breakfast here and she came back with this. It's an overeasy egg and cheese on a pumpernickel bagel. As you can see, someone in their infinite wisdom thought it was a good idea to slice this in half. Now the yolk that I wanted to bite into is all over my bagel. And it served as glue, so the paper it was wrapped in is now part of the bagel. The yolk spilled on to me as i tried to peel it off the paper. So now I'm out breakfast, because there's no way I'm eating this, and a new white T-shirt. So thanks McLean bagels for ruining my shirt...
