I ordered a small bridal bouquet for my elopement and was told I could pick it up when they opened the next morning. My sweet father went by the shop an hour or so after opening time and collected them for me, so I didn't get a close look before I got to City Hall with my fiance.
Upon arrival, I was shocked to find that they'd given my father a bundle of unarranged, uncut flowers wrapped in two layers of plastic, rubber bands, and a ribbon (unpictured since I rushed to fix it on the steps of the building). My dad explained they were finishing it up when he arrived, but he was mortified when we realized that it wasn't a hand bouquet, but a bundle suited for a vase. He is a wonderful dad, and blamed himself for not realizing it was wrong, which is clearly not true.
We stood to the side of the marriage clerk hall and assembled, by hand and without scissors, a bouquet for me to hold in our photos, and threw away nearly half of the bouquet in hand fulls of stems and greenery. It was kind of humiliating and made me so sad.
What I requested from the shop's book looked something like the other bouquets in the photo I am posting. It really hurt that this is what we paid for, clearly not a hand-held bouquet and, as a result, started our special day off on...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I would. I ordered flowers for my sister-in-law, who is in the hospital, to be ordered on Saturday. I received an email on Saturday stating that the flowers had been delivered. I then received a call on Sunday evening stating that they had not been delivered, but that they would be delivered on Monday. On Monday evening, I received an email that they had not been delivered. I called several times and requested an automated callback, and received one only hours later. The call and subsequent calls came from phone numbers listed to Chicago-area hospitals, so I'm not sure what the customer service model being used is, but it's extremely ineffective. I received a voicemail that the flowers would be delivered today, Tuesday. Now Tuesday evening, I have received a text and email stating that "due to limited supply" my bouquet will not be delivered until NEXT WEEK. To be clear, my bouquet did not include any rare or unusual flowers. The flowers will no longer be needed more than a week after the scheduled and promised delivery. I will be requesting a stop-payment...
Read moreI was so disappointed and frankly embarrassed with the floral piece that your company made for my brothers funeral. It lasted no longer than a few hours.. By the next morning all the flowers were wilted. The other arrangements that people sent held up so much better. Also I was very disappointed in the ribbon..thought it would be much bigger for the price and thought it would run from top to bottom of the floral piece...as is was, it looked quite silly. I cannot say I would ever use you again.
After I posted this review..approximately one half hour. I received a call from Sara from Blossom Flower Shop. She apologized for the mishap and offered a full refund. Yes I was disappointed with the flowers, but I am far more impressed with the amazing customer relations. Sara was so kind and apologetic. And looking at the other reviews, it seems my order was something that happens on occasion and does not reflect the overall quality of Blossom Flowers. Thank you Sara and...
