My husband and hosted a VERY delayed wedding reception at Heritage Bar & Restaurant this past weekend. I highly recommend you consider Heritage for your next event. Fellow COVID brides/grooms, their party room is absolutely beautiful and it they perfect small space to host a mini reception. The prices are more than reasonable, so if you're tired of spending money b/c of all the money you lost when you were forced to cancel your reception, then this is the place. We had an AMAZING time at our own reception. The food was delicious (we highly recommend the salmon) and Eileen did such a beautiful job decorating! She lovely flowers along the fireplace, at the bridal table. I really couldn't have been happier with the evening. The staff that worked our party were nothing but a good time. Of course the party room can be used for events other than mini COVID weddings, but if you are in the same boat as my husband and myself, I 100% recommend you consider the event space at Eileen's/The Heritage bar. Thank you to Eileen and all those who worked the Weaver/Johnson event! You guys were the absolute best!

Went to watch the Ravens Steelers game with hubby. Decent amount of TV's. Despite there not being a crowd it took quite a while for a server to get to us and I had to finally approach the bar to find out about drink specials. It's a quaint and cozy bar with lots of seating as well as a full restaurant attached. Since it's a bar I was thrown for a loop when families walked thru with young children. I felt kind of weird since there was, what I thought a separate entrance. The servers were not well versed on the drink menu and had to go back and forth a few times to get basic questions answered, so we were waiting an unacceptable amount of time. Yet everyone was very nice and courteous. The bar is a good neighborhood spot for the middle aged, after work cocktail or if you want to avoid the rowdy football fan (like myself). Can't review the restaurant but quite a few families were there. I'd go back just because folks were nice and the atmosphere was warm.

Google shows Eileen's as it's own storefront but it's actually located inside of Heritage bar and grill. I went for brunch and the food was good. I ordered a cup of apple juice and they gave it to me in a large cup with ice which is great because who likes warm apple juice (which is what you get in any other restaurant). I had the McLean ave breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage and French fries with white toast. You can't say it's hard to mess up breakfast because there are places that can and do. The breakfast here was so worth it and the price was not budget crushing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Definitely going to come back for dinner sometime soon. Parking seems like it could be a problem at night on a Friday or Saturday, but I went Sunday morning and was able to find parking.

Went here for breakfast with 3 others. We all loved the food - hence the 3 stars. The service was pretty bad, however. We were there on a Sunday around noon. It wasn’t very busy - they might have had 4 tables with people at them. Our order was taken in a timely manner, but service (though it was friendly) pretty much went downhill from there. It wasn’t a problem that it took the food about 20 minutes to come out - but it was annoying that in that 20 minutes, we never received our drinks that were ordered. We finally asked for them and received them about 1 minute before the food arrived. The waitress was spilling the coffee all over as she carried it toward us, she never gave us spoons so my friend mixed hers with her knife. We had to ask her to bring us sugar. In the meantime we saw another guest walk over to the staff and ask for utensils because they were never given any. When the food came out, she had forgotten to bring one friends toast and my sausages so we needed to ask for them. They never came to refill our coffees or ask if we needed more water (though our glasses were empty). Never removed extra, unused dishes from the table to help us make room for the plates that arrived with food on them. And after the bill had been paid for, they unnecessarily finally brought another jug of water to our table as we were basically getting up to leave.

The food was really yummy. Loved the Irish sausage and the black and white pudding.

The bar itself was nice, though the back room where the tables are and the breakfast was served had no windows so was pretty closed in feeling. Also - it was super chilly. We were all cold because the AC was on (it was a 59 degree spring day - not necessary for AC use). We could see other customers trying to warm up their arms from the...

Where do I start? I heard of racism & discrimination, towards other people from Ireland but I never experienced it until I went to Eileen‘s kitchen. Heritage restaurant My friend is from Nigeria. He’s a black person, and my other friend is from Ireland. We went there just for food and a social Drink not to get drunk. it was Saturday around about lunchtime. We went in there. The waitress was very polite. We sit down and a manager lady came over and ask have we got New York IDs which I thought was strange I am 38 my friend are in their 40s we don’t look young then she said we can’t serve you if you don’t have New York IDs when we showed her or New York IDs She left and was very upset then came back and said I’m sorry we have the right to refuse anybody we don’t want to service I asked why she said we had with your kind of people in the past my friend from Nigeria was very upset, but my friend from Ireland says it’s not his fault. It is my fault because he’s from Ireland minority and from the traveling community in Ireland the people from Ireland not all of them get treated like this all the time it’s 2023 not 1800s this should be not tolerated at all. I’m ashamed to be a American. And these people are in my country and acting like this they should be ashamed of I’m going to make a report to NYPD and my Congress I have videos very shameful👀👀🫵🏻 I would not let anybody that I know it from there just imagine what they would do...

Today myself and my 2 cousins went for food in this place known as " The Heritage", as we entered this location we were told " we are closed " i asked why as it was 3 in the day and people were sitting down eating and drinking he replied "sorry have you a reservation " I replied no (video to follow \ he then seemed to be very confused and told me to take a seat being very sorry as he said he had a hard day which was t understandable, as muself and my cousin ordered our drink we sat there very manually, 10-15 minutes later we headed outside for a cigarette he then followed us out with the bill explaining that we couldn't sit here without the bill being paid as i went to pay the bill he explained to me that i couldn't use apple pay but taken into consideration this was my only source of payment, i contacted my mother to drop me down 14$ as this was the total of my bill i explained this to the owner that my mother woukd be dropping down this money as he didn't accept apple pay, 10-15 minutes later as we were heading back to our car we where surrounded by 6 police cars whom took pictures of the registration on the window and then proceeded to ask us had we just been in the heritage bar we said yes and they then told us we are not allowed back in the heritage beacuse he said that he had a hard time paying the bill !???!when he knew my mother was on the way to drop me 14$ to pay this bill?? I am still in shock after this...
