A deep dive into Heritage Bar & Restaurant

My husband and hosted a VERY delayed wedding reception at Heritage Bar & Restaurant this past weekend. I highly recommend you consider Heritage for your next event. Fellow COVID brides/grooms, their party room is absolutely beautiful and it they perfect small space to host a mini reception. The prices are more than reasonable, so if you're tired of spending money b/c of all the money you lost when you were forced to cancel your reception, then this is the place. We had an AMAZING time at our own reception. The food was delicious (we highly recommend the salmon) and Eileen did such a beautiful job decorating! She lovely flowers along the fireplace, at the bridal table. I really couldn't have been happier with the evening. The staff that worked our party were nothing but a good time. Of course the party room can be used for events other than mini COVID weddings, but if you are in the same boat as my husband and myself, I 100% recommend you consider the event space at Eileen's/The Heritage bar. Thank you to Eileen and all those who worked the Weaver/Johnson event! You guys were the absolute best!

Went to watch the Ravens Steelers game with hubby. Decent amount of TV's. Despite there not being a crowd it took quite a while for a server to get to us and I had to finally approach the bar to find out about drink specials. It's a quaint and cozy bar with lots of seating as well as a full restaurant attached. Since it's a bar I was thrown for a loop when families walked thru with young children. I felt kind of weird since there was, what I thought a separate entrance. The servers were not well versed on the drink menu and had to go back and forth a few times to get basic questions answered, so we were waiting an unacceptable amount of time. Yet everyone was very nice and courteous. The bar is a good neighborhood spot for the middle aged, after work cocktail or if you want to avoid the rowdy football fan (like myself). Can't review the restaurant but quite a few families were there. I'd go back just because folks were nice and the atmosphere was warm.

Google shows Eileen's as it's own storefront but it's actually located inside of Heritage bar and grill. I went for brunch and the food was good. I ordered a cup of apple juice and they gave it to me in a large cup with ice which is great because who likes warm apple juice (which is what you get in any other restaurant). I had the McLean ave breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage and French fries with white toast. You can't say it's hard to mess up breakfast because there are places that can and do. The breakfast here was so worth it and the price was not budget crushing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Definitely going to come back for dinner sometime soon. Parking seems like it could be a problem at night on a Friday or Saturday, but I went Sunday morning and was able to find parking.

There are two sides to every story...and the same goes for this place. My friend and I came here for the first time as a way to relax after a few busy work days and we walk in expecting to be welcomed but stand there a bit confused as to which side we go for-The Bar or The Restuarant. We go to the restuarant side. The ambiance of this side was very warm and welcoming and we were taken care of by the very nice waitress named Louisa. Our seats were so comfy and throw pillows were a great touch. The rustic center pieces immediately caught my eye. The prices are great and the portions are excellent. The food was amazing (we ordered the Heritage Nachos and Wings) and we will be coming here again. Oh, and the mimosa was awesome.

Just left the Heritage / Eileen's and had breakfast at their outdoor dining area on the first day of the Labor Day Weekend. The weather was perfect. Our waiter was Sean Danger and he was delightful. Great small talk, shows genuine interest in who you are while being professional and providing excellent service. The whole crew hustles and are focused on quality service with respect for the customers. They had plenty of social distancing, cleaning and hand sanitizer . We both had the Mini Irish Breakfast which was great. Keep up the good work Sean. Eileen, you have a great staff- CHEERS!

Great food and great music they have their kitchen open until 1 am which is excellent their food like wings and lamb are superb I enjoyed every bite loved their beers which are nice and cold the bar tender was very welcoming he showed us a great time thanks will return again!
