Unprofessional Experience with Brandon at Briggs Clothiers My fiancé had a very disappointing experience working with Brandon at Briggs Clothiers. From the very first appointment, Brandon seemed distracted and unprofessional, spending much of the time discussing his personal relationship issues instead of focusing on the fitting. Despite that, my fiancé decided to support a local business and ordered a custom suit in June, with Brandon assuring him it would arrive within 20 days. After weeks of zero communication, my fiancé reached out multiple times for updates. Brandon eventually replied by text — not a call — blaming the delay on a Chinese holiday. Another month passed with still no updates. By September, with our October wedding quickly approaching, it became clear the suit was not coming. Brandon finally offered a refund but wouldn’t clarify when the funds would be returned. After more follow-up, he eventually Venmoed the refund, never once apologizing or taking accountability for the delay and stress he caused. His tone throughout was curt and dismissive. We ended up going to Dillard’s, where we worked with Alex, who provided excellent service, great communication, and delivered a custom suit in less than 3 weeks — for half the price. Not having that size on hand, the owner jumped through hoops to find them (they were on back order at the distributor) and have them overnighted to get there in time for us to have for the event. During a previous experience here, one of the workers was wonderfully straight forward with us, letting us know what we were looking for would be better found and cheaper online than attempting to piece it together there, but still did my husbands measurements to assist with us ordering a suit from elsewhere. Read moreI called this morning and asked if they charged for a fitting. They were very nice over the phone and said they would take care of me. I let them know I would be there at about 12:30pm. Expecting a good experience, I made the trip on my lunch break. I walked into the store where there were only 2 other customers. I was not greeted, but that’s not where my issue is. The issue comes when I was finally greeted I was asked how they could help me. I informed the employee that I was there to be he measured.
