I started taking my dogs because they seemed to be an organized group of groomers with professional demeanor. I will not be returning with any of my dogs again. I have two sheepadoddles and two Labordoodles. My youngest doodle has just turned 6 months and heās weighing in at 60 pounds. I was first told that he did not have a schedule to be groomed, but the other two doodles had an appointment for full grooms. As I was about to leaveā¦it was blurted out very loudly that they could wash and dry the puppy only. So I agreed to leave him with a stipulation that he was gonna get a bath and dried. I also bought to their attention that the last two times they were groomed that the dogās ears were still full of hair which had not been pulled or cleaned up around the bottoms. I was then informed that you have to specifically ask for them to clean the ears. These were considered extra Services you had to specifically request. So I requested that the hair be pulled from all of their ears so that they would have nice clean ears. When I returned to pick him up, they told me that he was screaming the whole time that they had him on the table and that I would have to sedate the puppy! if I wanted to have him ever groomed there again. I was told that they videoed or recorded the screaming and I asked to get a copy or hear it which I have not been provided. They charged me $85 for the wash in the dry and thatās fine; when I got home, they had taken a pair of scissors to his face, and it was lopsided. They cut all of his muzzle down, which was not part of the assignment. I called the veterinarian and wasnāt told not to take any of my dogs back to that groomer if they have to sedate a puppy then clearly they lack patience and understanding how to manage a young puppy learning how to get groomed. (Thereās only two reasons things donāt get done you donāt know how or you donāt want to! ) I believe this is both they didnāt know how to groom the 60 pound puppy and then they decided they didnāt want to after they made mistakes. The horrific tragedy is that I actually paid them for this! Then drove to the veterinarian officeI and paid to have the vet pull The hair out of the ears and Dremel down the claws. This is unacceptable for a groomer! Standard grooms include a wash and blow dry, clean the ears, Dremel the claws trim around the paws. Hereās the bottom line. This puppy is a training to be a service dog for a blind person. Service Dogs have to maintain a standard of cleanliness in order to go into hospitals and places this groomer was informed of this. They refused to do their job! therefore theyāve lost about a $600 every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was my first time there. I was quoted $70 over the phone but was told it was an estimate until the groomer saw my dog. I got there 5 mins early, the groomer (Bri) took a look at my dog and she let the receptionist know it should be an additional $10-$15 because of her size. Mind you, my dog is a Poodle/Chihuahua mix at 12lbs. I said fine. I was told that the grooming services included a bath and nail trimming. It does not include a bath because once my doggy was ready to get picked up I saw on the invoice an extra charge of $5 for bathing. I told them not to trim her nails which they didn't. Also, my doggys back-home groomer would attach 2 purple feathers on her head and this groomer said she would do the same, without mentioning that there was going to be an up charge of $15!!! I told them to take them off because the groomer did not discuss pricing nor did I agree to that price. All in all, it was $80 for grooming, $5 for bathing, and if you pay with a credit card, and a processing fee (which nobody told me about until I had to pay the invoice). I'm not a cheapskate but I didn't tip. My doggys haircut was a simple nothing fancy cut and I could have done a better job with the clippers, scissors and patience at home. To say the least, I was disappointed and won't be coming back, they just seem like they're money hungry. The receptionist was super nice and professional so kudos to you. Now I have to continue looking for a groomer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThese folks were great to work with. I showed up for my dog's first appointment and due to some mistake or glitch, my information and appointment wasn't saved in their system from when I called. After I showed my call log and that I'd called their number when I booked, they worked hard to squeeze us in. The receptionist was so calm and kind when she spoke to me, never treated me like I was lying or guilted me in any way. The owner came out and talked to me about how she could fit her in and what that would look like, very graciously. She then sent a stylist, Taylor, out to speak with me. Taylor was the sweetest...calmly explaining her recommendations for my dog, treating my pup with so much patience and kindness, and even joyfully listening to my very excited, young daughter. She told me to give them 3 1/2 hours since they were working her in and that was fine with me. I get a call about 1 1/2 hours later saying my puppy was all ready! Incredible timing. Alex did her very first puppy groom and did the most beautiful job! š I came back to the most beautiful puppy I've ever seen! Alex was so kind and sweet, gave me lots of details about how my pup did, offered me some tips and ideas to incorporate at home, and left us going home feeling so blessed. This was a potential disaster and they handled it so well. I will definitely be back and look forward to using their services in the...
