Luxury nails — Local services in Clawson

NEVER AGAIN! This used to be my spot, but not anymore. It takes a lot for me to write a review, and I mean a lot. I used to feel relaxed in here and not rushed. The time before this visit I felt rushed, I felt everyone was distracted answering phones and to be honest my nails were not even close to the perfection they used to be. Being from the beauty industry for 18 years I know there is off days and I’m understanding. I decided to go again and this time bringing my friends daughter. I changed it up by just getting a shellac on my nails for 2 reasons, 1. It no longer fits my lifestyle to have longer nails. 2. I didn’t want to risk hating how uneven the shapes were on my nails again. Now I’d like to mention I am the least far from a cheap person, I have zero issues paying for amazing service. Both of us were out the door in a little over an hour with a combo of $180. I thought it was miscalculated at first so I had some questions since the shellac I got was a quick file, painted, a brush of cuticle oil and no longer than 10 minutes total. My friend’s daughter had a 10 minute manicure and didn’t get polish on her hands or feet. I really am not one to write a bad review, but this is ludicrous. I am not one to undervalue work but I’m sorry $35 for my nails painted for a 10 minute service is wildly insane. I can’t go back here and feel I’m get half the service I once got here...

Luxury Nails is hands down the BEST nail salon. I have been getting my nails done every 2-4 weeks for the past 10 years, I have tried over 30 different nail salons & none of them have come even close to the experience I have every single time I come here. First of all the salon itself is so cute it really does feel like a LUXURY nail salon; the chairs are super comfortable, the salon is always clean, I'm obsessed with the show they play (Selling Sunset) & they even go the extra step of offering snacks! What really sells me is the quality of the nail sets I receive. I always go to Lily or her sister Yenny when she's not available & I have never been disappointed! (Pics of recent sets below). Every single set is shaped & designed to match exactly the concept I came into the salon hoping to receive. Finally the staff is SO friendly & sweet & I genuinely enjoy every personal interaction I have whether its through social media, over the phone or in person. Every time someone compliments my nails I immediately gush about this salon & while I'd rather keep them a secret so they stay available I also know that they deserve every possible new client cause they are the best...

I have been going to this nail salon for a few years now and it has been the best one I have experienced in the area. I come here regularly to get my nails done and it is truly a great experience every time. Everyone is always very kind and welcoming. You just feel at home when you come here.

If you aren’t sure what you want, they will walk you through their many nail options. You will be educated before you decide and they do a great job with making your vision come to life. If there is ever an issue, just let them know and they will fix it!

Their customer service and service quality is amazing. I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment as they can get really busy. But they always do a great job of getting you in as soon as possible or even day off.

I currently get GelX on my fingernails and shellac on my toes. However I have done regular on my toes (usually my go to in the winter, and it last well) and I have done dip but for me GelX was better. They have amazing color options and are very talented at what they do.
