Sharp Shopper Grocery Outlet — Local services in Clay Township

The place is lovely have been shopping here for years. I'm always able to find what I'm looking for and then some. If you've never been to Sharp Shopper, I recommend you make a few visits per month, to familiarize yourself with the store and items carried there. When it comes to grocery outlets, they have the best selection in my opinion. I've shopped at a lot of them, (even their Leola location) and this one is better and more spacious with a lot more variety. The staff is friendly and helpful, store is in clean, good condition. And, the prices and deals you find a great. They even have other items you can find, that aren't typical of other outlets. Like books and kitchen and household items. I was able to find a set of 4 red wine glasses and set of 4 champagne flutes for $5 each! I got one of each. I would've paid a lot more elsewhere. I really can't complain. However, I was disappointed to find out that they no longer carry cappuccino mix in the baking/bulk section. I don't know if it's at all locations or just the Ephrata one. I know I've always been able to find it at the Leola one. If sadly they don't, I'll have to look for it at Shady Maple Farm Market. Cuz I know they have it there, in a lot more flavors. Great prices on most products but make sure you are checking exp. date as some items are close coded past exp. but a lot of items you can not tell it is past date. It is a hit and miss store for me sometimes I do not find many items and others I find more then I need. Also if you find a great deal on something you use a lot by as many as makes sense because most times if it is a super bargain it will be gone the next time you come back. The areas I find the most deals is cereal, refrigerated Juices & drinks, snack foods, Ice cream section & frozen bakery items is always a win, win I always sample frz bakery once I get to the car if first time purchase because to many times I would get home and after tasting how good it was and regret not purchasing multiples of it. Do not let the plain packaging on frozen bakery items scare you a lot of items are food service going to restaurants, schools etc. one other thing I like is the available empty boxes in front of store...

Had delivery drom Dallas,TX. Delivery was scheduled for 12pm on friday. I got delayed because of I81 N got shut down for few hours near Harrisburg, VA, because of fatal accident investigation. So i called them and said i will be there at 3:20pm. The guy said we close at 4:30pm you have a yogurt delivery and there is couple thousand cases, it's alot of breakdown, it's gonna take couple hours, so we gonna reschedule you for monday. I ask if they willing to stay 1 hour longer, i am gonna help breakdown and willing to pay for their 1 hour overtime $300. Guy said we don't do that, we will see you monday 6am. People don't want to work.. So monday it took them 1hr 10min to get me empty.
